Raqaas Has Some Terrible Parents

There are no slammed doors in Dilawar’s house. No loud music. No carefree laughter. Not even the simple pleasure of standing outside when it rains. Instead, everyone tiptoes. Hum TV Mere Dard Ko Jo Zubaan Mile

Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Mile - Episode 18

I am extremely disappointed in today’s episode of MDKJZM. I had initially liked the story of MDKJZM, actually no – I loved it. Through all the tragedies, twists, and deaths, I still stayed true to it. However, my interest has rapidly dropped in these previous two episodes. Zakiyah’s...

Geo TV Meri Behan Maya

Meri Behan Maya: Episode 6

I enjoyed watching this latest episode primarily because there was a lot of Maya in it! I must say I am enjoying Maya’s character and the way it has been acted out more than anything else in the play. Safia B and Alam Ara, believe it or not have to be my second most favorite characters. The calling the...

Mera Pehla Pyar – Episode 1 Review

Mera Pehla Pyar koon tha? I don’t know because I have never been in love or fallen in love (ok Gul sher from ABC was the exception, maybe Ashar, maybe Siddharth- Akshaye Khanna from Dil Chahata hai…ok I need to stop!) BUT I do know what is like to try to juggle between an unorthodox career, family,...

Wow! I don’t think I have words. I really want to know what magic there is in Sirat-e-Mustaqeem that has gotten to me so much! This is definitely one of the best works I have ever seen. Ik Tamanna Lahasil Si - Episode 3

Out of all the episodes of Ik Tamanna Lahasil Si so far, this is the one I truly liked. Reasons? 1) Fahad Mustafa was shown more 2) Fahad Mustafa looked adorable! 3) The chemistry between Mohsin and Nadia (Mawra). These 3 things are what made Ik Tamanna Lahasil Si a treat to watch today. Fahad Mustafa...

ARY Maya

Maya – Review

First thing’s first, out of all the plays that are on air at the moment the reason I thought I just could not totally miss out on Maya was that it has been written by Amna Mufti. She is an exceptionally talented writer who always focuses on important social issues in a way which is extremely educational....

Geo TV Meri Behan Maya

Meri Behan Maya: Episode 5

Zarmina finally took a stand for her sister and put Attiya in her place by telling her off in a way that was truly gratifying….someone really needed to do that. I am totally in love with Maya’s character….Annie Jaffrey is cute beyond words. Whoever decided to cast her in this role is a genius and I must...
