Zard Mausam this week was truly splendid to watch! The story didn’t feel like a drag, it flowed smoothly, and best of all, it compelled me to keep watching. Every drama has one of those “filler” episodes that sort of put you off, and last week’s was one of those too, but today’s piece was so good!
Mehru and Waqar have learned to move on from the past, and they have started to learn to talk to each other more often. As Waqar puts it, he has developed a habit of telling Mehru whatever is going on with him recently. The little walks in the garden, the knowing looks passed between each other when one of the children (Aiman) misbehaves (Aiman), and sort of breaking the communication gap between each other were just some of the highlights of today.
Waqar has finally shown some effort into trying to make Aiman start behaving like a normal girl as opposed to a Daddy’s girl. She was actually going quite crazy today. Someone had to stop her from hitting her little sisters constantly, and learning to get along with each other. That girl was getting out of control! I totally seconded Waqar when he was trying to discipline her, however, the slap might’ve been a bit harsh. Just a teensy bit.
Regardless, the ending was perfect. I loved how Waqar got over his issues and decided to bring Babur back, as was his right to live with his father. I loved Mehru’s reaction/expressions in this scene. Honestly, I can’t see anyone playing Mehru’s character than Sania Saeed! Perfect ending.
In the next episode we get to see the teen versions of Aiman, Momo, and Jojo. I’m glad they’re moving on to tge future and to the actual story by now. As always,, looking forward to the next Zard Mausam episode! Great cast, great directing, and great story!
