I know people have been waiting on this week’s review! , I am not bragging I have actually seen the number of visits during the last 2 days. 500 plus.Yeah! And it’s still increasing. I couldn’t get to see the episode because of the desi Cyclone we had.. Yeah you got that right, the hurricane that never came, but the usual KESC problems came with it,, so no drama and no you tube left me clueless about episode 16, but not until I came to office and watched it here.(yup that’s what I do in my office :) )
What was that? Okay not in a critic’s way but seriously, we never saw it coming. Can Soni be this much cruel? Okay let’s talk about it later. There were few very good scenes in the serial this time.. Vasl is about 16 weeks old but the story is crisp and is getting tighter, unlike most of the dramas that have almost died by now. Vasl brings out a new twist and angle in every episode.
There were 3 scenes that are worth mentioning in this episode. The one when Ayshea breaks down in front of Soni and tells her that she cares for her. But sometimes its makes me feel how cruel a kid can be towards her mom. Isn’t this a little over? Samira and Mehreen aisa kidher hota hai yaar? And that also makes me feel that thora zyada hogaya, just to make the serial crisper they have added the cruel role of Soni which sometimes doesn’t make sense to me. Hina is weeping infront of her daughter and even apologized, but she isn’t responding, as if she loves to see Hina in pain. Does that really happen? Itni bigri hoi? That particular scene was evidence to ayshea khan’s class. Wonderful emotions, when she breaks down in front of soni as well as tells Hashim that she has lost it . She just can’t take it anymore, the helpless ness and the bechargi that was portrayed by her, left everyone breathless.
And how can I forget my sweet juggan :) I actually liked it. In the last weeks review most of the people did not agree to my views about Marina including the director that Marina’s is right however this episode she was made to realize her mistake by none other that THE MAN Salman. It’s perfectly okay to have principles and values, but at the end of the day you need to give respect to your relationship. I am not goanna get into details of husband kay huqooq or blah blah, its just that, one should respect the other person. I felt good when she apologized and realized her mistake. There is nothing wrong in accepting ones mistake.
What I actually liked in this episode was the way marina and Ahsuns story is running parallel to Hina, and this shows a lesson to youngsters that cherish the relationship one has. Just one divorce has ruined Hina’s life, not only hers but salman’s , hashim and Her kids as well. Which I am sure many of the viewers would have been telling themselves when they looked at marina and adil,” Sudhar ja marina, Hina ka hal nahi dekha”
Okay let’s now talk about Sohni transformation to this evil kid. I wasn’t expecting that all. How can one be so cruel? Dear writer I couldn’t digest this role. So my view on this transformation is a total NO. But for the sake of argument let’s agree that certain characters exist in our society. So what will happen now? I am clueless. The sort of wicked and evil character that sohni is portraying is unimaginable . Adventure? she is doing it for adventure? What sort of person is she? Sick. But I am sure that there is something very wonderful coming up in the next episode!! lets see how it goes now.
I know everyone is praying that nothing bad happens to Zee, she is such an adorable kid. Sweet and treats everyone as her real siblings so I am sure Samira and Mehreen have it covered.Let’s wait and watch and see what happens next. It’s been a roller coaster ride so far…..
