I was complaining for the past two episodes that the drama had gotten slow but today’s episode was fast-paced and well, awesome! A lot happened in today’s episode and it all happened very smoothly. Rufi and Abida are both now engaged, Mahjabeen is introduced, Hajji Sahab’s shop is destroyed and Ibtasam almost proposes Rabia!The main highlights of the episode I believe are a proper introduction of Mahjabeen (Kiran Haq, “the mystery girl”) and Rufi+Abida’s official engagement.

I don’t get Zulaikha! Who advises her son to get married the 2nd, the 3rd or the 4th time if he wants?! She was  super-jealous when she found out about the proposal for Abida. That’s the only reason she decided to bring Rufi’s proposal to Abida’s family! And lol Rufi took her seriously, he’s really planning on getting married twice at least.Wow!

Mustaqeem finally revealed Rufi’s real self to his mother and sisters.Good job! It was so hard for Fatima to reveal that to her husband, but obviously, he didn’t believe it. Well, just wait Hajji Sahab, you’ll find out when the girl Rufi’s dating will break into your daughter’s wedding! I’m actually glad about that because I don’t want the two of them to get married. If Abida married Rufi, her life would be ruined. That’s why, bring it on!

So, Mahjabeen, it seems she’s going through a tough time. Her brother is forcefully trying to get his sister married to an old man with 4 kids. So, she runs away. The big question is, why is her brother doing that? Well, maybe we’ll find out. Maybe it’s just because they are poor or something. The way she asked Mustaqeem for help, I thought he would never agree because of Hajji Sahab. But he did, he’s a sweet guy. What I don’t understand is, how does she trust Mustaqeem so much? I mean, he always starts acting strange around her. I’m surprised she trusted him to help her and let her  stay in his house for a while. Oh well, maybe it was because he was her only choice at that time. And also, why didn’t she do ‘parda’ when Mustaqeem came to her house?

I loved the part when Mustaqeem brings Mahjabeen to his house! His mother opens the door and asks “Yeh kon hai?” Mustaqeem is like, “Maa main Mustaqeem, aap ka beta?Pehchana nahi mujhe?” in a total panic mood while thinking how to explain things to his mother. But I’m so glad Fatima is so understanding. She helps Mahjabeen and advises her to go home before it’s too late. Wise woman, Fatima :) I also love the part when Ibtasam calls and Hajji Sahab picks up the phone. Well Ibtasam, you have some idea of who you’re going to have to deal with. Good luck ;)

Overall, I really enjoyed every moment of this episode! The drama still hasn’t lost it’s comedy side, so that’s good. And I love the fact that the story contains so many genres to enjoy. I am more excited than ever for the next episode! There’s going to be a lot happening according to the preview. Amazing performance by all the actors. I expecially loved Firdous Jamal and Sami Khan’s performance in this episode. Good job team!
