I’ve been watching Sirat-e-Mustaqeem for the past few weeks even though I didn’t review it. I was observing Hajji Sahab today and was happy and amazed by his change. The other side, seeing Mustaqeem change, I noticed that there is a strong message given in this drama serial, it just goes to show that ” Everything happens for a reason”. This is completely true and the way we saw it here, I’m impressed! See, everyone is probably very upset with Fatima’s death. I myself felt sad because she was one of my favorite characters in this show. But after her death, Hajji Sahab has changed so much. I was amazed! When I look at Hajji Sahab right now and Hajji Sahab in episode 1, I won’t be able to say they are the same people. The way he asked Abida if she didn’t want to live with Rufi anymore without worrying about the “Izzat” and all that. I like him a lot now :) The same goes for Mustaqeem. This part of his life is a phase. He is going through it and gradually changing into a better person. For him to have changed, it was important for Mustaqeem to run away from his home and face the situations he faced. I LOVE the character development here!
Coming to the story, I feel sad because of the fact that Abeer died. It was so sad :( She was a nice person and Mustaqeem will surely remember her forever. Even sadder was the part Mustaqeem found out that his mother died. It was a heart-wrenching moment! The emotions Mustaqeem showed were perfect! Surely, he was sadder about Fatima’s dead compared to Abeer’s death. But no doubt both deaths were sad. Great job Sami Khan for giving spot-on expressions!
I think Rufi and Rabia are hopeless! I am actually really angry with these 2 characters! Rufi, because “Itna beizzat honay ke baad bhi buhat dheet hai!” I think he should have divorced Shanzay himself, but he is still going after her. I don’t feel even the least bit sorry for him. And Rabia, I really think that she should have at least tried once to go back to her father’s before giving up like that! I’m mad at her too! Plus both their stories are progressing extremely slowly! This is the one thing I’m disliking in Sirat-e-Mustaqeem.One more thing that made me angry is that Javad didn’t give Mustaqeem’s number to Hajji Sahab. Why?! Why didn’t he?! After that conversation I was pretty much waiting for that scene but it never happened :(
Overall, this was a really good episode, very emotional. Sirat-e-Mustaqeem is still going very well. I really hope Mustaqeem returns soon. But before that, I think there’s gonna be another tragedy, Hayat bhai’s death maybe :( That will be sad. I can’t wait for the next episode!I have a feeling it’s gonna be really good! Thanks for entertaining us, team Sirat-e-Mustaqeem! :) Everyone who’s worked in this deserves cheers!Well done!
