“Haye Oye” The story has taken a strange turn. I felt so sad for Mustaqeem this episode! Really, his father isn’t willing to hear ANYTHING against his sister, nephew or niece! He should at least let his son talk! He just has this picture of Mustaqeem that he is “Awaara” irresponsible, and a liar. That is stuck in his head and he doesn’t believe or even want to hear anything he wants to say!
The episode begins with Mustaqeem’s father yelling at him for misbehaving with Rufi. When Mustaqeem tries to clarify what has happened, Hajji Sahab interrupts him immediately.Later on, Mustaqeem’s mother gives him the bills from Rufi’s house and a list of Batool’s books. Then she asks for money for his kids but he says no immediately. He really needs to get his priorities straight! Now, moving on to Batool, what is wrong with her?! On one side, she talks to her boyfriend all the time and on the other, she’s….! Both Rufi and Batool are very spoiled! And poor Mustaqeem has to pay now! He didn’t even do anything! But obviously his father wasn’t going to listen to him. Hajji Sahab is one narrow-minded person! He decides that he is going to get Mustaqeem and Batool married. Mustaqeem disagrees but his father is firm on his decision. We also see Mustaqeem falling for the mystery girl in “Burqa”. Hoping to see more scenes with them. I wonder why she comes to the shop every other day lol but I guess it’s the one of the few ways Mustaqeem and the girl can meet.
I loved the fact that Mustaqeem’s mother trusts him so much. She knows that he isn’t that kind of a person. Goes to show mothers know their children best. She didn’t believe for a single second that his son would do something like that. Mustaqeem is relieved from her side.
The story has a good start and the scenes aren’t very long. Direction, sound, picture quality is all great. The actors have done a wonderful job too. This serial definitely engages the audience to it.
Now, things I didn’t like. First, Mustaqeem pretending to do Namaz. Doing that to deceive someone, I was a bit disappointed.
And secondly, Rufi making the mistake “Kameez fry and Kabab Istari” was really funny at first, but the second time, it sounded a bit fake.
But overall, it’s going great! I am looking forward to more. I just hope the Batool and Mustaqeem “shadi” case is solved soon and isn’t stretched too long. Good luck Mustaqeem :)
