This was another brilliant episode! It was slow but it was definitely not boring. I was again stuck to my seat the entire time. I especially loved the first part of the episode; the Mustaqeem/Abeer conversation and the hospital scenes in the beginning.
I seriously loved how Mustaqeem remembered his parents and discussed them with Abeer, how he shared his old ‘sharartain’ and how he used to get in trouble all the time. That scene was long for sure but I loved every moment there. I also loved how Hajji Sahab was so worried about Fatima. It was so sweet! One other thing I loved was that they showed how family is still supportive in the rough times no matter what. Hajji Sahab’s sisters, both of them were worried sick about Fatima and Hajji Sahab. We were shown in the past how greedy and trouble-makers they were but it’s true that ‘jaisay bhi hain, hain toh apne na’.
I so didn’t want Mustaqeem and Abeer to get married, it’s not because I don’t like Abeer, it’s just that I’ve been waiting for Mustaqeem to go back. But it seems they will get married because the next episode preview shows that. But it also shows something happening to Abeer. I have a feeling she’ll die. One thing, I have not read the novel so I truly have no idea about how the story will go and what’s gonna happen. But it looks like she’ll die. I know Mustaqeem is only considering this decision because he is really sweet and feels indebted to Abeer. He does care about her, that’s why he wants to help her in any way he can. I think he feels guilty for leaving Mahjabeen alone at the time of need so he doesn’t want to let any other girl down. It’s amazing how Mustaqeem has changed from a carefree and ‘awara’ to a very mature and responsible person. I also love the fact that Mustaqeem is closer to Allah. much more than before.
The Rabia case is getting boring for me, honestly. I have lost interest in that part of the show. She should just try and go back. She can’t stay at her friend’s place forever. As for Rufi, I can see how badly he’ll fall after his so-called ‘father-in-law’ comes. His greed will ruin his life, I’m sure.
I gotta say again, the acting is top-notch, by everyone! I loved Mustaqeem’s expressions when he got the shock that Abeer will marry him! It was brilliant! I also loved the part where Abeer says “I’m sure, agar tumharay abba tumhe abhi dekhtay na, toh unka seena fakhr se phool jata” at that time, Mustaqeem was all teary-eyed, lost in thought it was so easy to tell exactly what he was feeling that time. Nicely done by Sami Khan. Also, how can I forget the other part? Firdous Jamal’s expressions when his older sister asked him about Rufi.We could see anger in his eyes and then when he had to answer her, his tone and facial expressions changed immediately so he could hide the truth from her. Nicely done by Firdous Jamal as well. Also the actress playing Shanzay, she is a really good actress as well. Her facial expressions are brilliant for her character. I think the whole cast has done a brilliant job! Even the team, the director must be very talented. I don’t get bored at all while watching Sirat-e-Mustaqeem, ever! And of course, the writer, she has brought us a really interesting story. Great job team! Keep it up!
Overall, I loved the episode! There were a couple blunders in this one, but they were very tiny so I don’t need to mention them at all.I’m loving the story and the cast. I can’t wait to find out what happens next! Let’s just hope for the best. I really hope Fatima doesn’t die. Let’s see what happens. Eagerly looking forward to the rest of the story!
