The past few episodes of Sirat-e-Mustaqeem have left me with mixed feelings for many characters. My thoughts have changed for some and for some, they haven’t changed for one bit. One character is making me so angry and another character has won my heart at last. Okay, I’ll tell you right now. The one I’m mad at is Rufi (obviously lol) and the one I’m finally happy with(not completely) is… Hajji Sahab! Yes, I am finally starting to feel for him now. He loves his children after all. Hmm, I was so happy when he kept thinking about Mustaqeem and how he used to be so strict with him all the time. He’s a lot nicer to Fatima now too. Speaking of Fatima, I hope she gets better soon. I don’t want anything bad to happen to her. I hope there’s a happy ending! I really hope she get to see Rabia and especially Mustaqeem!
About Rufi, Uff! He makes me angrier by every episode!What is he?! Seriously, if it was someone else, he would have already divorced Shanzay, but our ‘Rufi mian’ is so interested in money that he’s pretty much ignoring all of the ‘beizzati’. Seriously, he shouldn’t even think twice and divorce Shanzay! Anyway, seems he’s gonna try the bad way now. Yes, he’s gonna take advantage of his ‘so-called’ father-in-law trip to England and I don’t know, steal his money or something. And I can’t believe he still doesn’t feel anything for Abida! After all of this, he really doesn’t caare and would have already divorced her if it wasn’t for his mother.
Hajji Sahab found out about Rufi’s marriage. But what really made me happy is that Hajji Sahab really wants to see his kids and will definitely forgive them. I hope that happens. I hope Fatima and Hajji Sahab get to see Mustaqeem and Rabia again. And I also want to know what happened to Mahjabeen. I hope they don’t leave this open-ended. But I think Mustaqeem will go back. The question is, when? I wish he’d call his home at least once. I really want him and Hajji Sahab to talk at least once.
Why did Mustaqeem have to take Abeer to the beach and then staying with her?! Uff! Okay, maybe it wasn’t really their fault but I was surprised when a cameraman was conveniently there to take Mustaqeem and Abeer’s picture. Anyway, now they are stuck with this problem and Rozy is there to make everything worse for Mustaqeem. She’s a true ‘chamchi‘ of Raza. I was wondering how exactly Abeer fell in love with a man like Raza. He is so selfish and mean! It turns out Abeer married him for success. And now, she is suffering. Success doesn’t mean anything to Abeer anymore. Poor Abeer, Raza won’t even let her keep her child. He is now on my hate list after Rufi. Seems my hate list always has at least 2 people. After Hajji Sahab was removed from it, another person came in.
Speaking of hate-list, Rabia’s evil MIL and Sultan are not far away from my hate list. I swear if Sultan does anything bad, well my hate-list isn’t full yet, so beware! Why did he come back?! I shouldn’t be asking that, I know why he came back. Ibtasam really shouldn’t have left Rabia like that. He should have known that there are 2 people who are a great threat to her. I didn’t like his choice of leaving Rabia alone at this stage.
Anyway, Sirat-e-Mustaqeem is progressing very well. There’s just a couple scenes I felt were very long, otherwise it’s all good. I must say this show is brilliant. Even though that usual SeM charm isn’t really there anymore, I am still finding this serial very entertaining. Oh! I miss that cute ‘shararti’ Mustaqeem with the cute bond he and Fatima shared. I wish that time came back. But still, loving the show. I am definitely looking forward to the next episode. Let’s see what happens :)
