Sirat-e-Mustaqeem – Episode 14

Yes!Finally, I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed today’s episode of Sirat-e-Mustaqeem! It has gotten interesting again!

Main Highlights:
-Batool got married
-Mustaqeem got a job
-Ibtasam caught Sultan red-handed

Mustaqeem finally got a job and at the person who he bumped into twice. It seems Fiza’s character(don’t know her name) also has a ton of problems. By her conversation with her husband(?) after the party, we got to know that she is the 2nd wife of her husband and it seems he only married her for her money and has left her alone for 7 whole years. That’s sad. I can tell she must be so frustrated. Mustaqeem is new at this kind of job but he is handling it well. He knows that he should not interfere in Fiza’s (again, don’t know her name :( ) personal matters. I am interested to see how their story goes :)

I was shocked at how brainless Batool is! Seriously? She calls her bf after she gets married? And at that time?! I could not believe that! She ruined her life just like that! Zulaikha’s children are now suffering, both of them. What goes around, comes around. It’s true. They are paying for the what they have done to others. Rufi is pretty much a servant to Shanzay and her father and Batool is probably being mistreated by her husband. Let’s see what they face next.

I am so glad Ibtasam finally found out that his wife wasn’t lying or anything and that Sultan is a bad person. He is a good husband. He isn’t one of those husbands who blindly listen to their parents, well at least I hope he isn’t like that. I’m confused after watching the next episode’s preview. I hope everything goes well. I wish Hajji Sahab could forgive Rabia. He’s seen her after so long and didn’t even let her meet her mother. Why? She didn’t do something bad. She’s suffering more than she deserves. I missed Fatima today. She was really good in this drama. I really like her.

I was wondering about what happened with Hayat bhai and the gang. Their story ended just like that. I was expecting more to their story. And I am still wondering about what happened to Mahjabeen. I wish we knew a little bit. I have a feeling Mustaqeem will go back to Lahore and meet Mahjabeen again. But that’s gonna be in a while, I think.

I just didn’t like one thing I didn’t like. I didn’t like Fiza’s outfit and her make-up when she was going to the party. It was ‘goth’ type! It was hard to look at her.

Overall, I liked today’s episode. I am even more excited about the next episode. A whole lot is going to happen! Will Rufi divorce Abida? What will happen to Rabia? Why is Ibtasam doing this? And ufff! Another girl trying to trap Mustaqeem! I swear at first I thought it was Batool acting all weird with Mustaqeem but it’s Rozy. First Batool and then Rozy.What is with girls these days?! There are many questions waiting to be answered and lots to look forward to. It will be hard to wait for the next episode. I am also waiting to see how Mustaqeem’s and Fiza Ali’s story shapes up. Everyone is doing a really good job, as usual. The story has gotten more interesting. Let’s see what happens next :)
