This episode was much better than the last one. It still didn’t have that usual Sirat-e-Mustaqeem charm, but it was definitely better than the previous episode. First of all, I want to say that I feel very sad because we have lost the childish and playful Mustaqeem :( The problems and the situation Mustaqeem faced have changed him and I doubt this change is temporary. I feel kind of upset because that playful Mustaqeem is one of the reasons I fell in love with the show. I will miss that Mustaqeem :(
Main highlights of the episode:
-Rufi is suffering BIG time because his marriage didn’t turn out to be what he expected.
– Mustaqeem is lost with no home and meets up with this gang.
-‘Sultan'(Ibtasam’s cousin) has made a visit to Ibtasam’s house and this definitely calls for trouble.
Really, I felt soooooooooo sad for Mustaqeem! The way he stopped by the ‘dhaaba’ and realized he couldn’t buy himself anything, I was like ‘awwwww’. You feel bad for him when you see that face filled with hasrat, wanting to eat when he hasn’t eaten in days. He never would have accepted food from the thief but he was so hungry he wanted food so bad. Sami Khan again was great! He had the perfect expressions all the way through. We already know how naive Mustaqeem is. I was worried throughout the episode because I was afraid he might join the thief gang but I am glad he didn’t. He went through a lot during this episode. I hated when his money was stolen by a pair of thieves. He worked so hard to earn that money :(
Okay, I was kinda happy to see that Rufi was getting the taste of his own medicine. Bara rob jamataa tha na, apni biwi per ab pata chala kaisa feel hota hai? But then (don’t hate me for this) I felt bad for him. Yes, for the guy I always wanted to suffer, I felt bad for him today. Wow, ‘bayzati pe bayzati’ every minute of the day. Shanzay’s father insulted Rufi a lot but Shanzay certainly doesn’t stay behind. She got Rufi to rub her feet?! Rufi is getting what he deserves. I feel sorry for him though.
Overall, I believe this episode was better than the last one. It was depressing but certainly not dragged like episode 10.Mahjabeen has been missing for two episodes. I would like to know what happened to her. I hope they tell us soon. And yes, can’t for Mustaqeem’s call to his mother! Hoping for things to get better and more interesting. I will miss the old Mustaqeem :( He was a treat to watch.
Btw, I liked Faisal Qureshi’s cameo in this episode. It was random, but kind of a treat :)
