I apologise for the lack of reviews, I will try and keep the review as short as possible.
Dawood and Kiran still rule each other’s heart and mind. Dawood frantically searched for her throughout the episode 17 but he couldn’t find her anywhere, he has the option of moving on but that won’t happen most likely, and obviously it is very difficult for him to forget someone who walked out from his life like this, whom he loved with all his heart. Shireen has disappointed me all this while, she knows her son wouldn’t budge but still expects him to marry Seemi. Usually we have not really seen active participation in family matters from the family’s eldest son Fahad but this time around he did what an eldest son and an elder brother supposed to do. I think the entire conversation between Fahad and Shireen was my favourite part of the episode. I don’t think Shireen actually weighed all pros and cons before giving Kiran marching orders.
Also what surprised me was despite knowing her son’s temperament she expects him to marry Seemi. I mean come on woman, why do you want to spoil one more life? You have already broken two hearts for your selfish reasons. I was not surprised by Dawood’s reaction when he informed his father that he would not marry Seemi at any cost. The entire episode focussed on Dawood and his search for Kiran and the heartbreak he is going through after the dreaded separation.
Episode 18, gave us a glimpse of changes that have happened in Kiran’s life. She is not the same happy-go-lucky and careless young woman anymore. She doesn’t talk much nor does she smile. She wants immerse herself so much in work that she would forget about the pain that the separation from Dawood is causing her. She has started working with her neighbour’s NGO and why do I think this is how Dawood and Kiran are going to meet again? I mean Dawood will randomly chance upon her article in a magazine and get in touch with her and stuff. Amidst all this her neighbour and now employer Saira’s brother Ali who works with her will also fall in love with her but she would not reciprocate for obvious reasons. Anyway the entry of Saira and Ali has definitely made the serial interesting. I liked Ali’s character, he brought a freshness to the story.
On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised by Dawood’s change of attitude towards Seemi, earlier he would shoo her away but this time he didn’t. I think Seemi in all likelihood going to misinterpret this and assume that he is developing feelings for her.
Now that the only a few episodes are left, the writer woke up from a long slumber and realised that Roshani was supposed to marry Junaid. Let’s see if it works out for them because of so many differences, main being the financial and social status of both the families. Also, Shireen has never been very friendly with Junaid’s mother Shaista so I would definitely want to know the reason behind this. My favourite scene has got to be the one towards the end where for the first time we see Dawood acting like Roshani’s elder brother and being considerate about his younger sister. The interaction was so real.
Mohib Mirza was again the star of both the episodes. I really liked his performance. Armeena Rana Khan was tolerable in the latter episode. Other actors were okay too.
