Slowly but not exactly steadily the story is moving. The bombshell that I was waiting for Dawood’s father to drop has finally been dropped. He wants to turn his dosti with Zahid’s family in rishtedaari hence Dawood is now supposed to marry Seemi. The entire episode revolved around Dawood’s mother’s dilemma that she is now facing after her husband dropped this bombshell. Poor woman, can neither disappoint her husband nor break her son’s heart, unke liye agar ek tarah khaayi hai toh dusri taraf kuan. When she could not bear all this anymore she fell ill.

I think Dawood may eventually have to marry Seemi for his mother’s sake, as it is his father is too strict and the events that will follow after this disastrous union will be interesting to see. Dawood’s mother in all likelihood will not muster up the courage to speak with her husband and tell him about her son’s feelings. Eloping with Kiran or marrying Rania is out of question.

I said this in my previous review too and I am saying it again, I find Seemi’s tactics of getting close to Dawood hilarious and ridiculous. I mean girl, I know you do not have feelings for him but at learn to flirt/impress the guy properly, Seemi, makes a giant fool out of herself when she is with Dawood. I particularly liked how Dawood’s mother reached out to Kiran when she rings her, however I do feel Kiran could have emoted well because she did not really seem ‘pleasantly’ surprised when her potential mother-in-law surprised her with a phone call.

I think the entire episode almost belonged to the actor who plays Dawood’s mother (can someone tell her real name?). She looked happy when she spoke to Kiran. She looked nervous and almost shocked when her husband tells that their son will have to marry his friend’s daughter. And worried and upset because she didn’t know how to break the awful news to her son, Dawood. I absolutely adore the kind of relationship that Dawood and his mother shares. Other than all this, who else thought Kiran could have toned down on the makeup and wore a sober colour when she visits Dawood’s mother in the hospital? Also I always wonder why Roshi is most of the time shown in the lab with her boyfriend. Where was she when her mother was hospitalized?

I hope in the next episode Dawood’s father  breaks the news to him (because I think his mother won’t do that), I cannot wait to see how he reacts.
