Without being told about the miraculous thaskay curing jhappis, Shano knew what transpired between Khelu and Humaira just as she somehow knew word to word what transpired 24 years ago between her mother and Khalu x 2. Shano Bibi toh khud kisi peer se kam nahin hain- apni Ammi Ji ke mohabbat aur guzri hui jawaani ka bhhoot kyun nahin utaar sakti???
I expected more of a reaction from Khalil after finding out about his father- Jahan itna kuch najaiz hai wahan Khelu ka ghussa toh jaiz Tha! I almost expected a Lawaaris reference. Shano is probably immune to her Ammi Ji’s beghairti by now so it came as no surprise that those around her were indulging in similar shamelessness. She’s accepted that Rasheeda can never see beyond her obsession with Abdul Rehman and has offered to become her mother’s saheli. Her first act in her new role of consolidating her saheli ness was to chalk out a solution for Ammi Ji and Khalo Abdul Rehman to spend some quality time together. She ensured that Khalil’s newfound identity and sharam will keep him at bay while creating an opportunity for Abdul Rehman and Rasheeda. Abba Ji’s faalij couldn’t have come at a better time!
15 Saal Ki larki ko 35 saal ka admi agar warghala ke lejaye toh pata nahin chalta ke larki ka kitna kasoor hai. I’m sorry but this statement doesn’t change my opinion about Rasheeda. At the tender age of 15 she was fully aware of her sexuality and jazbaat and was involved with not one but two men! Brownie points for upbringing Bi Ji- aap ne toh kamaal hi kar diya! Upbringing se yaad aya , I’m in a fix trying to figure out who’s most deserving of the Mother-Of-The-Year award- there’s a three-way tie between Bi Ji, InAyat (for ditching her first four children and the ones after her ankhon kka taare Khelu) or Rasheeda! Rishton ka toh pata nahin, Magar aisey dramey Ek thaskay Ki maar hotey hein…
