Awww, Mansoor’s family is completely ruined after his father’s unfortunate death. It was very sweet of the parents to hide the fact that they hardly had the money to survive. Even when Mansoor’s father died, Sadika hid that fact from Mansoor and Momin until Mansoor coincidentally found out. I found Sadika to be a very patient and strong. For a woman to be so strong and hold responsibility for running the house after her husband’s death, it’s really amazing.
Roshan Ara handled the situation after her uncles death very well. She comforted Mansoor, telling him that his family needs him and that he needs to be strong for all of them. She also comforted her father and took good care of him when he fell ill after his brother’s death.
Hakim Ali is making his moves trying to get close to Roshan’s family. So far, Roshan’s family, especially Roshan’s mother is completely oblivious to his intentions. Roshan has no idea either but she knows that something isn’t right.
I have to say that Roshan’s mother and Qayuum are such heartless villains! I hate the way Roshan’s mother treats Momin. She’s also thinking of taking advantage of her brother-in-law’s death and thinking of breaking Mansoor and Roshan’s engagement. She didn’t feel a tiny bit sad when her brother-in-law died. And Qayuum, he’s just like his mother! He is so greedy and selfish that he even takes the money his father gave Mansoor’s family after saying really mean things to Mansoor. And what made me really angry was that he wouldn’t help Momin and his family at all while he spends thousands of rupees on his ‘awaara’ friends. I really think his father should hand over the shop to Mansoor because Qayuum is very irresponsible. But I’m pretty sure that his wife won’t let that happen.
What amazes me is the fact Mansoor didn’t know about the money problems in his house for six whole months. How could he not know that when he’s living there? Anyway, he has discontinued his education and is now looking for a job.
Some blunders that Faraz noticed were the existence of gas meters in houses and the MQM party at that time. It’ll be nice if these kinds of mistakes can be prevented in the future.
I’d like to say that the story is definitely progressing. The actors are doing a very good job. Affan Waheed is also improving with his acting and Sanam Baloch is a natural at these kinds of roles. I still didn’t see that ‘spark’ yet where something makes me excited about what might happen next. To me, for some reason, it’s not very engaging. I’m still waiting for that ‘spark’ I hope they make the story more interesting somehow.
