Well, the story has started to move forward. This episode was definitely better than the first one. There was more happening. Roshan’s brother Qayuum is taken to jail for beating up someone. That person survives but Qayuum’s father is very upset with him and won’t let him out of jail. His mother on the other hand is going nuts thinking about how much the police officers will hit him and how he’ll live there for so long. So, Mansoor’s parents sell their gold and get Qayuum out. We see some Mansoor and Sitara meetings. Mansoor’s father has got a big contract and the family is very happy. They go to Roshan Ara’s house to give them the good news and talk about Roshan and Mansoor’s wedding. Roshan mother tries very hard to try and delay it but her husband understands her intentions and decides to fix the date for the wedding. Roshan is extremely happy and her mother is extremely upset. Later on, the villain enters! That’s about all that happened in the 2nd episode of Roshan Sitara.
The story is at a faster pace compared to the 1st episode. Momin, again was really adorable. “Main yahan khanay ke liye nahi aata, Roshan Apa. Sirf aap ke liye aata hoon, sirf aap ke liye” I was going “Awwww” It’s horrible how horribly she treats her brother-in-law’s entire family! She is also very “naashukri”. Seriously, they got her son out of jail! They are such nice people. She shouldn’t treat them that way. And I’m so glad her husband handled the situation when his brother was there to talk about the wedding. Roshan’s mother was doing her best trying to delay the wedding so somehow she can break their engagement. He knows her so well.
About the chemistry between Mansoor and Roshan, it’s cute but to me, it’s not that touching for some reason. Maybe I’ll feel it in the next few episodes. There’s a bit of “betaqalufi”, it’s not like Dastaan’s Hassan and Bano relationship where Bano is extremely shy (I’m sorry if I keep comparing RS to Dastaan. I can’t help it for some reason) I am glad it’s different but I still hope to feel the cuteness.
The OST is lovely! Bilal Khan and QB have done a good job :) I think Waqar Ali has sung the background song in the drama though. It all fits with the drama perefectly :) Excelent job!
Anyway, I believe this episode was better because it was faster and had more happening compared to the 1st episode. (By the way, I am extremely mad at Qayuum for what he’s gonna do in the next episode! I think he will be the one to ruin his sister’s life) I look forward to what will happen next.
