Interesting episode, though it was a bit slow. This episode was also about people planning to get Momin to marry their relative, the competition includes Iffat and Neelam’s sister(forgot her name). Not one is even close to being successful so far. I personally am not liking the ‘greed’ factor of Neelam’s and so I really want this issue to be resolved soon.
I was wondering about how Momin actually felt about Qayuum’s behavior now seeing how it’s so different from before. I was thinking about what was going in his head this whole time. Well, my questions were answered here today. Momin was uncomfortable with Qayuum and didn’t really want to be so nice to him because of how he treated Momin and his family. But it seems he didn’t want to embarrass Qayuum and is not doing anything bad to him because of how much he still cares about Roshan Apa.He still loves Roshan Ara so much! It’s so cute! (I know I keep saying it’s cute so many times but can’t help it ^^;) It seems he has forgiven his ‘Tayi amma’ but not Qayuum. I really think Qayuum should apologize at least. He keeps reminding Momin about the past but doesn’t apologize. It is obvious Momin still is kinda upset with Qayuum. The look on Momin’s face while saying ‘ I haven’t forgotten anything’ says it all. I think Qayuum feels guilty so he should apologize. I’m sure Momin will forgive him.
Sitara is one amusing character. I don’t think there was anything to laugh about when she answered Momin question but I couldn’t stop when she said replied to Momin’s ‘Kya hua Sitara?” I thought Qayuum realized what Sitara was trying to say but he didn’t do anything about it so I’m guessing I’m wrong. But then, why did he get angry? Who knows.
I liked Momin and Roshan’s mother’s conversation. Tayi ammi finally apologizes (in her own way). I am glad they talked things out. Now, there’s is no grudge in Momin’s heart for his ‘Tayi amma’. But seriously, Momin is one of those people who only understands what is said to him, nothing else. He is the naive and innocent type.Roshan’s mother was trying so hard to ask Momin to marry Iffat (indirectly) , but Momin, unaware of what his Tayi ammi was about to say, completely ruined her plan by saying ‘ Iffat bilkul meri behno jaisi hai’. Again, this wasn’t supposed to be funny but it made me laugh because of how the look on Samina Peerzada changed and all.
Sitara is also naive at times. She is smart because she saw what Momin could not see. She knew exactly what Neelam is up to. But then, it also seems that she is very innocent. She says whatever is on her mind, which is good sometimes, but sometimes, it makes the situation awkward too and she ends up being ‘battameez‘ without knowing it. Sanam Baloch is very good at doing these kinds of energetic roles. There are many times where she reminds me of Kiran from ‘Kuch Pyar Ka Pagal Pan Bhi Tha’.
I feel kind of sad for Iffat. She is very selfless. The poor girl isn’t getting married and has stopped thinking about it completely. I hope she has a happy ending. And I really hope she doesn’t get married to the person who is coming to see her probably in the next episode . She deserves better. Every girl has a dream of getting married to an almost perfect person. I hope she finds someone special for herself. I doubt she’ll be getting married to Momin.
I liked the whole cinema scene as well :) Momin is really always looking out for Sitara. He warns her that he doesn’t want to see her doing anything what’s the word? ‘Mashkook’ but he never tells Iffat or Sitara’s ‘naani’. He probably doesn’t want Sitara to get in trouble. I liked the scene where Sitara’s friend says ‘ Yeh tumhaaray chacha hain? Yeh toh koi film-star lagtay hain’ In my head, I was like ‘ because he is a film star!’ lol
Overall, it was a good episode. But a teeny bit slow. I really really hope the next episode is the last episode where Neelam tries to get her sister married to Momin. The actors are great! I don’t need to say it because we already know how talented they are but they really are doing a good job! :) I am looking forward to the next episode. It seems Sitara won’t have to call Momin her ‘chacha’ anymore. Phew! I’m glad. It feels really weird and awkward to make Momin, Sitara’s chacha, for me it feels strange. I’ll be waiting for the next episode :)
Note: I know a lot of people are not very happy that Moammar Rana is playing this role because he seems older than the character, but it can’t be changed so let’s just accept him now :) It’s best if we do so that we can enjoy the story. He’s not that unfit for the role and he is doing a good job :) Let’s just accept him as cute Momin :)
