So,the story turned out to be kinda different than what I was expecting. The story of Roshan Ara ( Sanam Baloch) who is engaged with her cousin, Mansoor ( Affan Waheed). Mansoor and Roshan are in love with each other. Roshan’s mother ( Samina Peerzada) isn’t happy about her daughter’s engagement with Mansoor. Both families (Roshan’s and Mansoor’s) are not very economically stable. Mansoor has a little brother, Momin, who likes Roshan very much and Roshan’s little sister, Iffat who maybe, likes Momin. Roshan has a brother, Qayuum, who is very “Awaara” and spoilt. I think that pretty much sums up what we’ve learnt from this episode.
I’ll say that the first episode was okay. I think about half of the episode was on the kids and the other half was just telling the audience how Roshan’s mother is so upset her daughter is marrying Mansoor. It got kinda boring. There were only a couple scenes where we got to see the bond between Mansoor and Roshan.Although I’m a bit disappointed, I liked Momin’s role. The time when he begged Mansoor to save him because he got home late and when he teased Iffat were cute. He is a sweet child who likes Roshan a lot. He got a bit jealous I think when he saw that Roshan was more happy to see Mansoor’s letter than the feather he got for her. That was cute! I went “Awww” *cute* at a couple of parts in the episode because of him. The couple of Mansoor and Roshan seems cute too. It is different, probably because this is the first time they are acting together.
I thought the chemistry between Mansoor and Roshan would be like Dastaan’s Hassan and Bano but it’s not and I’m happy about that. I would have been disappointed if that was the case. So far, the story is okay but I’ll try not to judge the whole thing by just one episode. I hope it gets more interesting as the story proceeds.
