This week featured another heart-breaking episode of Mora Piya. Literally, you could feel Ujala’s anguish and her bitter hurt towards Faisal’s attitude.
The episode started with Faisal going to his office and being unable to work – he kept on having flashbacks of that fateful night. Then we find out Ujala and Faisal are going on honeymoon to Nathiagali. But honestly, there could not be a worse honeymoon. Faisal is all aloof and angry. He throws his cell phone and snaps at the porter.
Finally, Ujala breaks down also and confronts him. Boy, what an excellent, intense scene that was. You could empathize with Ujala as she told Faisal that he should just kill her because she does not want to live like this. Thankfully, Faisal realized the gravity of the situation. The rest of the episode was more heartening, but again, towards the end, Faisal and Ujala had another tiff which ended with her deciding to leave. She put it very aptly that Faisal was feeling more guilty and revenge-ful – and these emotions had overtaken the feeling of love he had for Ujala.
Overall, this was another very good episode. Although the story has not really progressed that much, it is worth a watch. The dialogues went straight to my heart and despite what I had said earlier about the couple, they are now beginning to grow on me. The acting has been all-out excellent again. I do hope, however, that the story will move forward next week.
