I thought I had seen it all last week – and after the peak the story has hit, there wouldn’t be much to watch. In fact, I had even passed off this week’s episode as a filler.
I was in for a surprise – again!
I was hooked, literally, to this episode from the start to the finish. Although nothing really happened as such, the entire trauma the couple was going through was portrayed brilliantly by Amina Sheikh and Adeel Hussain. I must say, hats off once again. They have done an excellent job!
Ujala (Amina) and Faisal (Adeel) apparently decided to keep quiet about the incident, and though Ujala was totally wrecked, she did not breathe a word to anyone. Her misery, the way she cried when she saw her father, jumped with fright when Faisal gave her the gajras, and woke up screaming after her nightmare, insisting someone was at the door, was heart-rending, to say the least.
Faisal is just as devastated and seems quite uncertain about handling the situation. All he wants is to avenge the gang. Somehow, I got the feeling he is distancing himself from Ujala. Maybe it is guilt. Maybe not. But one can tell this incident will have far-reaching effects on their relationship.
Is it just me, or Faisal’s producer really needs to buzz off? I mean, hello. Faisal took all the risks, anchored a sensitive program and in the end, bore the brutal brunt. The producer now tells him there is a land mafia everywhere and how does he think he will end them all? And that too when Faisal is only thinking of revenge! One would think she was in league with the gang all along.
The story (though still a bit far-fetched for me) has gotten quite interesting. From the preview, it seems Ujala and Faisal are going to leave for their honeymoon. I am definitely looking forward to see how that plays out.
