Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley – Episode 12

Slowly, but steadily, the story of MDKJZM seems to be moving forward at a nice pace. Every time lapse seems to be normal paces and things are kind of patching up. Today’s episode gave us so much more and so much to look forward to as well!

Finally, Arifa is on the way to a possible happily ever after. To be quite honest, she’s been through alot, and she kind of deserves it. However, I just wish she’d stop her insecurities from getting the best of her. It’s quite saddening to see a lively girl like her be reduced to this kind of personality. She keeps thinking Junaid is simply marrying her because “Woh rahm kar raha hai” on her. I guess after the trauma that she has gone through, it’s kind of hard not to think that it wouldn’t affect her in this way. She is also insecure about the way society sees her, and I can’t blame her. When her own mother said all that to her in the previous episode, how is she going to react? I like how we see two sides with Ahmed Ali and Shameem. Ahmed Ali is supporting her through all this, whereas Shameem looks at her daughter as a ‘napaak aurat’. How do you manage do that to your own child? This is why I feel for Arifa in the way that I do.

Amna and Urooj always put a smile on my face! Today as well, they showed how well they had bonded not only as husband and wife, but also as mother and father of Naami (or Inaam). However, Urooj is also getting a bit paranoid that his son doesn’t seem to respond to much, so is he born deaf as well? Amna assures him that he’s perfectly fine and that he should be thankful that they have a baby as a blessing in disguise. For some reason though, I feel like they might be foreshadowing something here, hmmmm…….

I loved today’s episode mostly because even though Arifa reacted a bit by setting her books on fire, she seems to be getting better and that makes me happy!  The scene with her father persuading her to marry Junaid was so heartbreaking! The team has done wonderfully and I feel like this drama deserves more than it’s getting! The cast, editing, directing, is superb! On top of everything, you just can’t miss Sarwat and Shehryar’s scenes because they’re just that amazing! Loving it! :)

I hate how everytime things seem to be falling in place and patching up, a catastrophe always has to come through! Will Amna and Urooj be able to pull through the upcoming one? So excited but apprehensive about the next episode! What do you guys think will happen to Amna and Urooj?
