I have to admit that regardless of the fact that this drama is a sequel, it has been fairly gripping and the story stays on it’s track. These two episodes have been simply wonderful. A few faults here and there, but the overall story is such that those faults can barely even be seen.
These past two episodes have shown so much, and I love how the story doesn’t seem to lag on. It’s crisp, concise, and to the point. Here were the two central tracks of these two episodes:
1) Shahzaman and Inayah: So, Inayah rescues Shahzaman from jail, and he falls in love with her even more deeply than he was before. Inayah agrees to gain some more power in her political status by using him as her puppet. Despite her daughter’s feelings for him, she proceeds to marry him, and Shahzaman falls into what I believe is a trap.
2) Anum and Faraz: Anum is Shazmeen’s younger daughter, who as mentioned before, has no wish to be part of her mother’s political career, and prefers to be a “normal” person. Faraz is Naina’s younger son who is basically like Anum, except he is less outspoken about his opinions. They both meet in London and fall in love, and after coming back to Pakistan, wish to marry together. Due to their political families however, that is deemed impossible before Naina’s family sees a benefit. However, I have a feeling that their story isn’t going to work out too well.
The cast has done a commendable job, as has the entire team. Extremely anxious for next week’s episode!
