I basically loved Mera Pehla Pyar’s episode today! It flowed wonderfully, the scenes were nicely cut, and everything in general was just very smooth. Without further ado, here’s what I today’s episode!
In today’s episode, we see Ayesha adjusting to life in her career, which doesn’t exactly seem to be working out too well. To be honest, what does she expect? There’s always gonna be people of that sort and I agree with her mother, all of her hardships have come from her own choices, whereas Hira is innocent in all of this. Ayesha: I understand ambition, but not obsession.
Continuing with that, we saw Tahaa transformed into a sort of grumpy, cranky type of person who seems really irritated. I don’t blame him, I can’t believe it’s taken a guy this long to crack. But I like how he’s still taking care of Hira nicely. Their scenes always make me smile because I just love their father-daughter relationship. He did seem a bit refreshed when he started telling Hira his “story”. :)
My favorite part of this episode was the flashback scene where Maria is FINALLY introduced! The flashback is basically about how Tahaa’s life was in the last year of his university. Ayesha was also shown to be with him, along with Maria. We also see some jealousy from Ayesha about Maria when her friend mentions how Maria seems so confident! I wonder if that has something to do with Ayesha and Tahaa’s relationship later on, maybe she finds out that he wanted to marry her, and something had previously happened between the two which is why Ayesha disliked Maria and so sort of disliked that aspect of Tahaa, too. I don’t know, anything’s possible, right? ;)
I’ve actually been waiting quite a while for something to finally happen in Mera Pehla Pyar, and I’m happy to see that it hasn’t been dragged out too much. Last week’s episode was sort of repetitive which is why I skipped the review, and because I had other things going on. The most-awaited track of the story happened, and I’m glad we’ve finally been shown Maria.
The chemistry between all of the characters is really nice! I especially loved the Feroza scene with Hira’s grandparents. That really made me smile and go “Aww…:)”. Also the father-daughter chemistry works really well. The ‘look’ of each scene is really fresh and just different. Other dramas have that cinematic look going on, but MPP has that realistic look. I don’t know if that’s the lighting, camera quality, etc…but it just looks different, in a good way. Also, as some of the scenes last week were dragged out, I’m glad they didn’t drag out any scenes this week. It was actually quite balanced, which was another pro from this episode.
Overall, a lovely episode! Totally waiting for the next episode, because that cliffhanger was really suspenseful! I only wish that there would be “Next Episode” previews added in so we can get a glimpse of events waiting to occur. I know some dramas don’t do that, and I can understand why, but I feel like it gives viewers something to hold on to. Still, awesome episode! Really kept me wanting to watch! :)
