Mera Pehla Pyar – Episode 5

After the 2-3 week hiatus, I was really looking forward to Mera Pehla Pyar. Today’s episode kind of fell short of my expectations only because I felt that not much happened. But still, it was a good episode, nonetheless! :)

Ayesha and Tahaa got divorced and obviously it affected Hira BIG TIME. I really liked how they were showing Tahaa, a guy, who was trying to continue the relationship for the sake of Hira. Normally, the tables are reversed, and the guy is intent on giving divorce, but right now, it’s actually Ayesha filing for it. I would say “Woman Power!” but to be honest, Ayesha is being really selfish right now.

Ayesha is such a confused character and I have so much to say about her. However, to save you guys from my rant, here is a more shorter and apt way to describe how I’m feeling right now and what she has done basically this entire episode ;):

Drags her daughter with her even though she wants to stay with her father while leaving the house.
Gets a divorce because she can’t stand her supportive husband.
Also because she can’t stand people that mean well for her including her own mother.
Loves her friend who obviously doesn’t genuinely care about her.
Yells at her daughter because her daughter is being an average 9-year old girl who misses her father
Yet wears the cutest top! That shirt was seriously gorgeous. I would’ve preferred a bit more length towards the front too but hey, it was still really pretty. Forgive me, I’m writing this really late at night :D
And just her attitude generally.
She basically needs a reality check.

Tahaa on the other hand, won all my votes today. His mother kind of pressured him into this marriage, and he complied. He’s being a gentleman and trying to not screw up his family. He’s willing to deal with all of Ayesha’s shenanigans just for his daughter and so she could stay happy. Also, at this point, he’s not even blaming his mother for any of this, even though she basically forced him to marry Ayesha! Seriously, his patience is amazing.

At this point, I’m really looking forward to how Ayesha is going to deal with Hira. I have an inkling that she will eventually send her back to Tahaa because she can’t deal with her anymore. I don’t know. We’ll see!
