Today’s episode focused on the married life of both the newly-wed couples. Both of them seem to be struggling but, while Aabish has Sherry by her side to make things less complicated, Zara is not lucky enough. Aabish is obviously finding it difficult to adjust in the new household and Asma’s attitude is not helping. Against all odds, Aabish is trying her best to keep things from getting worse and has a good communication with Sherry, who definitely understands her and gladly has not let her down till now. So, there is a genuine effort from both sides till now, we have yet to see how things unravel in the future.

On the other hand Basit seems to be making Zara’s life tougher than before by completely obsessing with what she is doing and if she is plotting against him. Basit’s doctor asks him to come for a visit when Basit tells him that he is more “hyper” than before. The doctor asks Basit to bring his wife along too and is naïve enough to give Zara an insight into Basit’s mental condition while he is waiting outside! Could he not talk to Zara confidentially? Since Basit has been his patient, he should have known that Basit will not be comfortable with the situation. Basit ends up getting enraged, but this time acting on the advice of the ‘brilliant’ doctor Zara tries to calm him down ‘tactfully’.

Finally one of Shireen’s (Aabish’s mother) friends confronts her regarding her behavior towards her daughter and tells her that her daughter is not her priority and she should know better. But Shireen is not the one to be convinced easily and she stands her ground.

Over-all today’s episode was not very happening, in fact very dull and the Basit-Zara track in particular was highly monotonous. Ayesha Khan’s acting however, was superb like always and the expressions were flawless. The next episode seems interesting and even though today’s episode was absolutely boring, I am looking forward to all the ‘action’ in the next episode.
