Oh boy, what a depressing episode! I just cannot help but feel sorry for Kiran. She may have had selfish motives for getting engaged to Mujtaba but she certainly did not deserve to be ditched this way. The least Mujtaba could have done was to break up gently (like his mom had suggested), but the way it happened was just too sad. There is no other word for it.

Mujtaba and Kiran again stole the show in this episode even though their “interaction” was mostly a physical and verbal brawl. Excellent acting by Fawad and Sanam! Their scene, literally, was the only one worth watching.

Theirs – and the ones with Shimraiz. I also felt very sorry for him. Throughout the serial, I have felt a stronger chemistry between Daneez and Shimraiz than Daneez and Mujtaba but maybe it’s just me. In this episode, it was more evident than before, especially in the scene where he explains to her that Mujtaba just wanted the “package deal”. Thankfully, he snapped Daneez out of her “twit” mode and gave her a jolt of reality – that SHE was the one who wanted to “go back to the basics” and not Mujtaba. She never thought once about what Mujtaba wanted – out of selfishness.

OK, so Kiran has run away, Mujtaba has decided to talk to her AND Daneez has decided she should end her marriage – after one day. Overall, an interesting first half of the episode, and a boring second one. Thankfully, there was a bleep when Mujtaba used some colourful language. I think we can all feel his frustration and irritation at Daneez.
