I do NOT believe this. I thought I was being a little far-fetched and over-imaginative when I had thought that Mujtaba (Fawwad Khan) had gotten the first glimpse of Kiran’s (Sanam Baloch) family when he had went room-hunting. When the fifth episode started, I almost fell over. Wow. So this is Kiran’s family and now, we certainly know why she is the odd one out.
This was definitely an amazing and hilarious episode. Finally, Tanya-Shimraiz (Mikaal)-Daneez (Aisha Khan) scenes were balanced with Kiran-Mujtaba ones, Mujtaba showed signs of coming to his senses, and Taimoor Chacha showed some spine in front of his wife. Ah, now this is what I call a complete episode.
I have marvelled, all throughout this serial, at the endings of the episode. Every episode ends at a point where it makes you yearn for next week. Last week’s episode did the same, and this week was no different. You know there is more to the scene and you just cannot wait to see it.
I am only a little irritated at the picture and sound quality. I would have thought it would have improved by now, but its quality has been decreasing by the week. I just do not understand it; after Haissam’s excellent work in Dastaan, I have no idea what has gone wrong. I have to literally turn off the fan when watching it on YouTube to make out what everyone is saying.
Apart from this glitch, I am really enjoying the story unfolding and the twists and turns in every episode – last week, we found out the real identity of Mr. Singh and today, we discovered Kiran’s family life.I have read a lot of criticism of this serial on other forums; however, I think Samira Fazal and Haissam Hussain have given us a masterpiece which every youth who thinks the grass is greener on the other side should watch and pay heed to.
PS: After giving this matter much thought, I finally came up with one actress who could have played Daneez – Tooba Siddiqui. She has played the spoilt brat roles plus insecure/victim ones (Koi Tou Barish, Noor Bano, Dil Hai Chota Sa). The only problem she would have had was the accent, but you could easily rectify that by saying she is studying Urdu as a foreign language.
PPS: It’s 2:00 am at night; please forgive the rambling – I just loved the episode and you can tell.
