Khuda Mera Bhi Hai – Episode 8 Review

The eighth episode of Khuda Mera Bhi Hai like the previous episodes left the viewers in wonderment. This episode was well executed and proficient as ever, a very well thought out play with the exception of the fact that no one has discussed this entire issue with a professional who would have come up with a bonafide solution.

We see how immensely the birth of Noor has affected the lives of everyone and it also covers the struggle of the parents thereof. The viewers can now safely conclude to the fact that Noor’s problem is permanent and we’ll be seeing a bigger picture of the story in the forthcoming episodes. Mahagul is seen taking full control of her life once again and I loved the approach of the writer while showing the relationship between Mahagul and Zain and how their lives had changed completely over the course of a few months, also the way Mahagul turned this scenario into an opportunity for Bubbly was in particular amazing.

The breakfast scene in Zain’s family showed how much the members of the family had drifted apart because of Arshi’s explicit negativity. We see Zain’s father being sensible, caring about everyone around him and smiling so often that it just blocks his wife’s suffocating negativity. It also makes you wonder how he managed to spend so many years with a woman like Arshi. Mahagul and her mother have gotten stronger and closer which shows how the tough times have brought both these women together. Aisha Khan and Saba Hameed compliment each other in all the scenes which makes their strong bond and the dialogues in the episode truly effective. It is always great watching a mother take a stand for her daughter and the flawless show of emotions during the entire episode made it easier for the viewers to relate.

The drama has some really strong women who block out Arshi’s peculiar negativity, my least favourite part of the drama. We also see Zahir proposing to Sanam and the way Sanam wonders how Mahagul would feel about this. It was quite pleasant to see their friendship and the primordial bond shared between the two. Mahagul’s conversation with Sanam was another one of those scenes which showed Mahagul’s open-mindedness.

I believe that the writer has done full justice to the script and the director has executed this script seamlessly. Khuda Mera Bhi Hai is one of those very few dramas in which all the actors have awed the viewers with their appreciable performances. You instantly feel a connection with them and that, in my opinion, is what makes a drama beautiful.

How many of you watched this episode? Do let me know how you feel about this drama.
