Khuda Aur Muhabbat – Episode 10 Review

This was by far the best episode of Khuda Aur Muhabbat with so many twists and turns, we can see the story getting stronger with every passing episode. It is very interesting to see how the Hammad has drastically changed. They all deserve a huge round of applause for bringing a romantic non-glamorous drama to our screens which is not just entertaining but many people can relate to it.

So far the story is revolving around two perspectives of love. It’s the romance, that has been so beautifully shown that has given this play an edge. What I love the most about the last two episodes is the dialogues. The script is so powerful and thought provoking, it speaks volumes which is striking a cord with the viewers. Imaan’s character is the most important one as the entire play revolves around her and the Sadia Khan deserves credit for beautifully depicting the different moods, shades just by her silence and facial expressions. The most attractive element of this story is the innocence and purity of the two lead characters and their relationship. Imran Abbas is winning hearts of millions by his new heart-throbbing appearance in the second stage of drama with a black shawl and his trimmed beard and I cannot stop fan-girling

I have now developed an unreal hatred for Maulvi saahb. Just to end the fiasco, he asked Abdullah to marry Imaan just so could maintain his status as a respectable person in society. He, like other typical maulvi, is being shown using religion for his own benefits. How ghuroor and takabbur he still has over his grasp over religion that he even questioned Hammad’s sudden love towards religion and accused him if doing all this just to impress him. Also, I am not sure if I should call Imaan stupid or obedient? It is obvious that she has a soft corner for Hammad in her heart yet she said yes to Abdullah. Once again, the flashbacks as always are used as a tool to lengthen the episode, but I love watching the train scene. On the other hand, nobody gives a damn about Hammad except his mother and younger brother which is kinda weird. The supporting cast Shakir, Nighat, Iftikhar sahab fit perfectly in their roles. OST of the drama makes each and every scene a treat to watch. I like how adorable the character of Hammad is, he wins hearts of people wherever he go and make them his fan. Even when he left all of his family and their riches, he still managed to find people who adore him like one of their own.

Thank you, Anjum Shehzad for restoring our faith that a simple yet romantic and well-scripted with good casting dramas still exist in our industry. So all in all, things have put into motion now. Let’s see how Hammad reacts upon knowing about Imaan and Abdullah. Looking forward to the next episode!
