It’s the third episode and even though the actual story hasn’t started yet, but there’s not a single minute I don’t find interesting. I like this drama serial a lot already! The way the class difference and attitude towards the lower-class people is brilliantly portrayed.
I am really saddened by the way Basheer and Zoya are treated and how no matter how loyal they are, they have no importance in Kamal’s life. We found out today exactly how loyal Basheer is when Saira reminds Kamal that Basheer saved her when his wife needed him. Basheer pretty much destroyed his home for Saira’s sake. It is almost impossible finding such loyal servants these days. Oh! I don’t even feel like calling Basheer a servant. I just wish people remembered that no matter how rich a person is, they are still equal in Allah’s eyes. It doesn’t matter i someone is poor or rich, it’s the heart that matters. Why do people forget? Why do poor and lower-class people have to suffer for something they are not responsible for? I feel sad thinking about it.
Saira, you are amazing! Saira is so far my favorite character in Kahi Un Kahi. I really like her personality. She is kind and down-to-earth. She is intelligent and has a heart! And she knows how to deal with things. I hope Kamal changes and if he does, I feel it’ll be Saira or Sherry.Reminds me, yes, Kamal has sent Sherry to London :( Okay, looking at his point of view, I can understand a teeny bit about how he feels but this is unfair! Why did he send Sherry away like that? What’s wrong if he plays with Zoya and is friends with her?
I’m very upset how these high-class people underestimate low-class people. ‘How is Zoya so smart? Isn’t she supposed to be dumb like other lower-class people?’ Seriously?! Why do these people think of themselves as great people and others not worthy of thinking about or even caring for. And their attitude is seen by their children and that thing stays in their minds. For example, look at Anam. She was a little girl but she’s already ‘allergic’ to people lower than her status. These kids grow up to be like their parents and that ruins the rest of the generations. Parents should be very careful about what they say in front of their children. A child’s mind picks up things very easily.
Overall, it was a good episode. I am looking forward to the next episode very much since the kids have grown up now. Everyone is great right now and I even like the child actors. Let’s see what happens next :)
Until next time ~
