So this review is coming with a big warning! A&B Productions. Here you go I said it. A&B productions have a tradition to start a drama on a very high note. They have a history of getting your hopes high and then breaking them somewhere in between. Changing time slots, moving the dramas to complete different day for money making reasons.
But how much I wish that they don’t do any such thing to Kash Aisa ho, How much I wish that they let this play run on sat prime time slot, how much I wish that the story does not loose its focus in the middle. Because in my small personal opinion this show is going to be the next big thing. Oh yes it will be. Provided that this drama maintains the same pace, and execution as it did on the 1st episode.
Kash Aisa ho has an unusual cast. A never seen before triaka . Mohib mirza, Saba Qamar, and Juggan Kazim.
Kash aisa ho is a simple story with no saas baho ka roona dhona. It’s a love story of Irfa( Saba Qamar) , an orphan who has been bought up by her khala. It’s a story of her childhood love with her cusion Shayan,( Mohib Mirza), The awara, lafunter , mohallay ka sab say chatta howa larka, who is a charmer and has looks that can get any girl in the mohalla to run after him.
Remember the Radhay from the movie terey naam ? yeah right.. that’s his character. To the T, confident, charmer, hero kay mafik action and witty enough to get any lady get attracted towards him.
So Irfa likes/loves Shayan, but Shayan is in love with Mahjabeen, The mohallay ki chamak challo /chameli/baby doll girl. He likes her because according to the rishtay kerwanay wali aunty.” Ajj kal kay larko ko bus yeh style aur lashkary marnay wali larkiya pasand hain”
To cut the story short. Irfa is responsible , mature whereas shayan on the other hand is complete Veela. All he does is make paintings and does hero giri in the mohalla. And whenever he needs anything, he runs to Irfa for money. Who always lends her anything he asks for.
The story moves at a rapid pace in the 1st episode where Shayaan is getting engaged to Mahjabeen and all Irfa can do is look at him because he doesnt like her as she is simple and doesnt do show shaw.
Kash Aisa ho is not out of the world story . However it’s the superb Acting of mohib mirza and saba qamar that keeps you completely glued to your screen. Juggan kazim as expected has the same kind of emotions and acting that we all are used to watch. For me she is just a filler. Because her role doesn’t really ask for any kind of heroics. All she has to do it look like a buns rd ki nilofer and that’s it.
You can not imagine any actor to infuse so much life in to the character of Shayan other than Mohib Mirza. To be honest we’ve seen Mohib pitching in a sincere acts in his earlier serials, but Kash Aisa ho should catapult him to superstardom. Mohib takes a really big leap with Kash Aisa hoo.
The story as I mentioned earlier isn’t the hatkay kind, however Maha malik has done justice to it by keeping the narrative short and to the point, instead of beating around the bushes, she opens her card upfront and present what is yet to come.
What made me glad was the fact that our industry is producing really fine talent. And Sohail javed is no such exception, If he impressed you in Mera pehla pyar, then he is sure to bring the house down with his latest venture. Note the scene when Shayan asks Irfa if she can give the money she had saved for her marriage to Shayan for his enagement. Brilliant execution.
We may or may not review this serial every week, however once in a while we may give you guys an overview. Give yourself a break and give this serial a chance. It Airs on Ary Digital Sat 8 PM
