And the story keeps getting more and more interesting with each passing week. This episode\’s highlight was \” the much anticipated entry of Moid \”, BabaJaan ki jaidaad ka waris, Mammi Papa ki aankoon ka tara un ka raajdulara, Baila ka laadla aur Joya ka mangaiter.
I was waiting for Moid\’s entry cause with his arrival, the story would definitely become more entertaining. Both his mom and khala have got their hearts set on marrying him of to Joya ASAP and the poor guy is completely in love with his fiancé, little does he know Joya is not at all interested in marrying him.
\” Hum Hain Mushtaq Aur Wo Bayzaar…Ya-Illahi Yeah Majra Kya Hai \” this was the gist of what Moid went through in this installment. The poor guy couldn\’t understand the hints that Joya was constantly giving him with her attitude. She neglected him, avoided him, was cold and rude and she didn\’t even mince her words but still he was left confused and annoyed but unaware of what was really going on. Joya\’s behavior was childish, for how long can you avoid someone in whose house you are living ? Instead of avoiding the problem and dragging the much dreaded engagement, it would have been better, if she had been honest with Moid. She has made it clear to her mother that she will not marry Moid so it\’s only fitting to not keep him in the dark.
Now along with Manaal, I am feeling sorry for Moid as well. Both he and Baila are totally unlike their parents ( Thank God ), they are honest, sweet, kind and courteous and if you ask me they are a little too sweet for their own good. I loved the way Mannal instantly called him \” Bhai \” and saved us all a lot of speculation :). But immediately afterwards, when referring to Moid\’s relationship with Joya, she very innocently said \” shadi say paihlay to sub baihn Bhai hi hotay hain na\”. A unique aspect of our culture :). I am loving the humorous touch in the story, specially when Manaal called Joya \” Appa Ji \”, that was just priceless. The element of humor is spontaneous and genuine, a big plus.
Manaal is still under Diam\’s wing and he always has to keep a watchful eye over her. The poor girl is trying so hard to adjust and make room for herself in everyone\’s hearts but I don\’t think that is gonna happen. Her mamaani, Joya and Joya\’s mother will not accept Manaal, no matter what she does. As for Manaal\’s mamoo, why isn\’t the poor guy given dialogues ? Last week he was completely absent from the episode and this week, he only made an appearance.
Hamdaan Shah loves Manaal, no doubt about that, as soon as he heard Joya insulting Manaal for her poverty, he realized Manaal has needs and for that she would require money. He immediately took care of that but still he is hesitant to show his love for her. She keeps trying to get close to him and he keeps pushing her away but still their chemistry is fun to watch. Manaal did change her hair and I am hoping after getting the much needed financial aid from her nana, now she would get a makeover.
At this point, Manaal\’s life seems to be getting better but then we got to see Shujaat once again \” us k iraday sun ker mayray dimaag main khatray ki ghanteyaan bajnay laggi hain \”. I thought he would have given up on Manaal by now but he is still thinking about trying to get in touch with her again. I do wish Manaal never has to return to Shujaat\’s house ever again cause if she does, this time I don\’t think Shujaat will waste any time, he will marry her even if he has to force her into it.
All the characters are doing a really good job but I specially have to mention Yumna. Her expressions and body language are always brilliant. I am also liking the pace of the story, its just right not too slow and not so fast. All the developments are introduced swiftly and each episode keeps me guessing how the next one is gonna unfold.
So keep watching and if anyone out there is reading my reviews, please feel free to give your feedback :)
