This was the second last episode and was more or less a filler except for one last twist in the story. After things had settled down, life was coming back to a routine and the Shah family started thinking about Baila’s future.
In a house where there are two young girls of the same age, both facing more or less the same problem but Ahmed Sahab and his wife were more concerned about their own daughter than their niece. A very realistic touch to the story. No matter what Manaal does for this family, she is still their niece and not their daughter. Baila’s parents can only see the pain of their daughter…they are thinking of marrying her of again, so she could start a new chapter but they didn’t even think about Manaal. They are still unaware that Manaal’s divorce has been finalized and now she is free to move on, she is willing to move on but it seems nobody cares. Diam is the only one who thought about her, he suggested that she should file for a divorce, he brought her admission forms and he hinted that if she was ready to move forward with him; he was ready too. But alas, being an orphan…Manaal’s happiness and future will always be everyone’s secondary concern.
After Diam made his intentions towards Manaal clear to her, Ahmed Sahab came to him asking him to marry Baila. Of course it was a shock for Diam, Musarrat had always treated him as a servant and now all of a sudden they wanted him to marry their daughter ? Not just Baila’s parents but also Moeed stressed on how happy this match has made him. This family is ganging up on Diam, in their minds there is no reason why he should refuse this match, they are convinced he will definitely be over the moon and say yes. It was surprisingly particularly since this family had blamed him for eloping with Manaal, I was under the impression that now after Manaal’s divorce they would suggest that Manaal and Diam should be married to save Manaal from any embarrassing situation in the future. As for Baila, she the has the support of her entire family, it will not be difficult to find someone for her.
Diam will never say no to Baba Jaan’s family and Manaal is a) still unaware of what is going on and b) she will not get in the way of Baila’s happiness…so naturally their future rests on Baila. Only if Baila refuses to marry Diam and explains why, only the will these two get a chance at getting their happy ending. I felt for Manaal, unlike Baila she doesn’t have a strong support system in her life but still she is trying to fight her circumstances and make something out of her life. Only problem is no one except for Diam is even thinking about her pain and suffering. After her divorce, she was so relieved and had been dreaming about having a future with Diam…and when Diam told her it was no longer possible I was expecting her to scream ” AB KYA HUA HAI “? These two have had such tough luck.
Other than that nothing much happened . Moeed and Joya are again on good terms, the family has already forgotten and forgive Joya and Rahat for everything they put Manaal and Diam through, even for Baan Jaan’s death. Strange, since Manaal had been kicked out of the house as punishment for the same crime but nothing like that happened to both these mother daughter. We didn’t get to see Shabnam and Shujat this week and honestly they weren’t missed, I don’t even mind if I don’t get to see the in the next episode.
Next week we will be watching the last episode of KKG, hopefully it will give Manaal her happy ending.
