Talking about twists, finally after a break Shuja has entered the story again and he is still his old, creepy self. After

I was expecting a lot from this episode. This was the day Of Manaal\’s wedding, Shuja was coming to the wedding obviously he wasn\’t just coming to convey his heart-felt good wishes to the couple, we were given reason to believe that Joya was planning to sabotage the wedding; I was so anxious to know how , so all in all this was suppose to be an action packed installment. But it just did not live up to the viewers\’ expectations.

The episode started and we saw Hamdaan Shah\’s family running around making preparations and receiving guests like any normal shadi wala ghar. The mood was festive, every one was happily looking forward to the big day. Hamdaan Shah was finally getting a chance to marry off his grand daughter, an opportunity he missed when his daughter got married. Shabnam was so relieved to see her orphan niece getting married, Musarat was happily making preparations and even Manaal seemed composed at this point. Everyone was happy except for Rahat and Joya and we did know Joya had something up her sleeve.

Joya was taking Manaal to the parlor and this was supposed to be the climax of this episode, like I said expectations were high but the way the entire \” Manaal\’s disappearance act \” was handled was really clumsy, it did not make any sense. What kind of a beautician would agree to such a crazy, suicidal plan ? This was Manaal Karim, the grand daughter of Hamdaan Shah an influential business tycoon, if for some reason she was gonna miss her wedding or disappear and the beautician had anything to do with it, she would not only be arrested and lose her business but would also end up in jail. Again, Joya tells Moid that Manaal is missing and then calls Diam who is Hamdaan Shah\’s right hand man to pick up Manaal from the parlor; Diam sits inside the salon for hours what kind of a \” Ladies only \” salon would allow a man to sit there ? Joya is not there and Manaal dosen\’t even feel the need to call her or Baila or anyone at home to find out what\’s going on. Nobody at home even knows which salon they have gone to when we all know that bridal appointments are taken weeks at times even months before the actual date. Even when Joya comes back home and pretends to be clueless about Manaal\’s where abouts, everybody is just sitting there nobody goes to check at the salon or to see if the watchman or any of the staff members know anything.

Manaal disappears into thin air and nobody, not even Baba Jaan calls Diam to tell him what has happened, when we know very well that Baba Jaan cannot do without him. Even Baila just sits there, she is busy coming up with theories and putting all sorts of non-sense into her brother\’s head but dosen\’t even bother to call Diam to check if Manaal is indeed with him or not. I couldn\’t understand what went wrong, why was this episode full of one illogical event after another when I found out that more than half of the scenes in this episode were not even written by Faiza Iftikhar. I don\’t know to whom do we owe these fantastic blunders. Appearantly the production team/channel changed the script and had someone else rewrite it. Was it a deliberate attempt to sabotage one of the finest plays on their channel or did someone think he could do a better job than the actual writer; I guess we will never know. But what was the point of adding so much nonsense when the entire situation could have been handled sensibly and logically ?

Moid\’s ill-fitting sherwani and the weird color combination of his sherwani and shalwar was an eye soar. This installment did not come up to the standard we have seen in the previous weeks.

The only positive thing we saw or found out in this episode was that Diam is infact Baba Jaan\’s friend\’s grandson. He is not just some random guy Hamdaan Shah took pity on and adopted, he comes from a good family, a family Baba Jaan was on good terms with. So the question arises, why did Baila not tell Manaal that cause had Manaal known about it, she might have become courageous enough to talk to Hamdaan Shah about herself and Diam. The match in that case would not seem inappropriate.

Now hopefully the next episodes would not have been messed with and we will get to see how the story develops according to Faiza Iftikhar. Baba Jaan is having a heart attack and I sure hope he dosen\’t die. I am also very eager to see how the family would handle this situation now that Moid knows Manaal and Diam have feelings for each other. Will Moid still marry her, will Joya\’s plan work and the wedding is gonna be called off, is Moid gonna end up with Joya after all, is Mannal gonna have to leave her nana\’s house and move back in with her phoppo ? We are gonna have to wait and watch. Do share your thoughts.
