A lot has happened in these 6 episodes and I will try to cover as much as possible but if I leave something out please bear with me :)

So Zaid turned out to be a materialistic moron who was extremely lucky cause thanks to his materialistic nature, he dodged a bullet by rejecting Joya. Moeed also has luck on his side cause Joya rejected him but the one person who did not happen to be so lucky is Mannal.

The most harmless and well-meaning person in the entire drama is the one on Joya\’s hit list now. Before I go into detail, I\’ll give you a quick recap of the episodes in question. Zahed rejected Joya as soon as he realized she wasn\’t related to Hamdaan Shah, Joya tried to win him back but to no avail, Hamdaan Shah wants to see Manaal and Moeed married and nobody has a problem with it but since Joya has been rejected by Zayed she now wants Moeed to take her back ( and be grateful :) ) when that didn\’t work she decided to make Manal pay for her ( Joya\’s ) mistakes and she made up a story about how Manaal lied to Moeed about Joya and Zayed only her plan back fired when nobody believed her. I hope it wasn\’t confusing :)

Now Joya is a living breathing testimant that no good deed ever goes unpunished. Even though Manaal and Moeed have never done anything to hurt her, she has made it her life\’s goal to make them pay for not letting her have her way whenever she feels like it. Joya is the person Jis ki an doosti ache na dushmani. After being rejected by Zahed it didn\’t even take her a minute to take a U-turn and go back to Moeed. I would have loved to see Joya realizing her mistake and feeling genuinely bad but nope, that would be asking too much from our totally materialistic, arrogant, self-obsessed, class conscious and mean Joya. She wants Moeed back cause he is the second best option, what he feels doesn\’t matter.

One thing is really bugging me. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me; what is wrong with Manaal ? After Joya tried to publically humiliate her, Manaal is still willing to forgive and forget. Not only that, she is again falling into Joya\’s trap. Why can\’t this girl learn from her mistakes instead of repeating them ?

A couple of weeks ago I was anxiously waiting for a twist in the story, now there are so many twists I am having a hard time keeping up with them :).

Diam has finally fallen for Manaal, despite his better judgement but he is a mature man who is in complete control of his emotions. He knows too well that if anyone gets to know that Manaal has feelings for him, the consequences would be disastrous. Manaal is willing to take a stand for herself and is even willing to face the consequences but she is naive and inexperienced; at her age this is what you would expect from a girl, to follow her heart but Diam on the other hand is wiser. He is doing what you would expect from a sensible young man who is loyal to his benefactor.

But It is heart breaking to see both Manaal and Diam suffering in silence. At least Manaal has Baila who understands her condition and with whom she can share her feelings but Diam doesn\’t even have a confidant to confide in. I can\’t help but wonder if Moeed was still engaged to Joya and if someone had brought it up, would Hamdaan Shah accept Manaal and Diam\’s feelings for eachother. Or would he still be class conscious and oppose such a match.

Talking about twists, finally after a break Shuja has entered the story again and he is still his old, creepy self. After getting a much deserved beating from Moeed, he is again willing to come to Hamdaan Shah\’s house to attend Manaal\’s wedding. I don\’t trust this guy for a minute, if you ask me Shuja and Joya would made a match made in Heaven. Both are shameless. I have a really bad feel that something horrible is about to happen to Manaal and both Joya and Shuja are gonna be a part of it. I am desperately hoping that Manaal doesn\’t have to end up at her phoppo\’s house again. That would be just too much for her to bear ( and for me ).

This play is bringing the viewers quality entertainment week after week and it is proving to be a complete package. I am not sure how many more episodes are left but the story at this point is moving forward at a quick pace. The events of the next episode will definitely have a strong impact on the final outcome of the story. I am hoping, Manaal would not have to suffer too much and she and Diam would get a happy ending soon :)
