Judging from last week\’s episode, I was a little apprehensive about what exactly did Joya had in mind and how was she planning on using Manaal. Thank God it wasn\’t as bad as I had imagined. All Joya did was to share her secret with Manaal and told her to somehow convince Moid that this marriage was not a good idea, it will not be a good match to begin with. Joya is desperate, she can no longer depend on her mother to handle the situation and in her desperation she has turned to Manaal, who is not only naive and inexperienced but in this case, she is clearly on Moid\’s side. But none the less, she is sincere and honest so there is no question of her ever using Joya\’s secret against her.

Maybe Joya is not a mean person, after all she has only told Manaal to help her and the way she has explained her case, it clearly shows she doesn\’t want to hurt or harm anyone. All she is asking for is to be able to choose her future husband herself. Now I don\’t think that is too much to ask but the thing is, this guy Zaid, who she wants to marry comes across as a really really bad choice for a husband. He is not what you would call \” good marriage material \”. When Joya is trying hard to explain to him what a tough time she is going through and needs a little more time, his response is insensitive. At this point however, Joya\’s wish did come true as Moid saw her and Zaid together so hopefully he will be able to connect the dots.

Now coming to Manaal\’s track. She has finally been able to create a soft spot for herself in her nana\’s heart. Hamdaan Shah is now comfortably smiling in her presence, he no longer feels the need to hold back. He loves his granddaughter and that is pretty obvious and he can also see the positive changes in their house\’s environment which are the result of Manaal\’s efforts.

Rahat\’s angina attack has brought about a positive change in her behavior as for the first time she was able to think about someone other than herself. She was sorry she didn\’t let Manaal\’s PHOPPO talk to her and also she realized how hard it had been for Manaal after her parents\’ death. In this episode we got to see a more human side of both these mother and daughter and it was nice. Makes one believe that after all these two are still capable of atleast a little good. It was also good to see Shabnam, we haven\’t been able to see her dysfunctional family for a while now and I am curious to see how things are at their house.

Where is mamoo ? That is the question I want to ask. He hasn\’t made an appearance for the last couple of episodes and we haven\’t been given any excuse for his absence either.

The highlight of the episode was Diam\’s birthday. Again Baila proved to be a good friend trying to help her friend out by informing her about Diam\’s birthday. It\’s so nice to see these two cousins/friends together. Although Diam didn\’t want a party but he couldn\’t hide the fact that he was touched by this gesture. Moid is truly Baila\’s brother, both these siblings are just so sweet. Even though he was going through a tough time in his personal life but still he showed up to celebrate Diam\’s birthday. Joya would be a happy girl if she realizes how truly amazing Moia is specially in comparison with Zaid.
