\” Love makes fools out of us all \” last week it was just Moid who looked like a fool running after Jia and this week Manaal has also joined the band wagon. She is head over heels in love with Diam. Manaal and Diam\’s love story came as a surprise, I knew these two were gonna fall for eachother eventually but I wasn\’t expecting it to be so soon and so swift. One day Manaal is busy trying to adjust in her nana\’s house, the next day Moid gives her his definition of love and instantly she realizes she is in love :).
I loved the way Manaal was trying to ignore Diam the next morning, she was afraid to face her own feelings for him. Poor Diam had no idea what was going on and that made the situation even more sweet and funny. Concerned about Manaal\’s sudden and unexpected change of behavior, he went to pick her up and have a talk. It was just so funny how he was trying to explain the meaning of love, how no one can stop themselves from loving the person their heart chooses to love and not trying to stop yourself from liking someone. Now from his point of view, these were words of wisdom ( he was referring to Hamdaan Shah\’s feeling for Manaal ) and he had no idea, how Manaal was interpreting his words. The two were discussing the same emotion but the context was way different :).
Manaal finally allowed herself to fall in love and that was just a beautiful scene to watch. The chemistry between Sami Khan and Yumna Zaidi is terrific, their scenes have always been my favorite but this episode was just a treat to watch. The last scene where Manaal finally asks Diam why was he always so eager to help her and he simply replies \” kyunkay tum Mughay ache lagti ho \”, that was just an awwwwwwwwwww moment. No fancy words, no long declaration of true love, no drama, no holding hands and longgggg and unnecessary eye contact, just a few simple yet very sweet sentences and we knew they were both in love :). I loved the dialogues, this one scene was worth watching the whole drama for if nothing else. Faiza Iftikhar, you have a way with words.
On the other hand Poor Moid\’s love story isn\’t running as smoothly. He still can\’t understand that as far as Jia is concerned, their relationship is over. He is hurt and he is trying not to show it, he is even trying to pretend he doesn\’t care but deep down he loves Jia so much, he is still willing to keep trying to win her over. Now this is something I feel is a bit weird. By now everyone knows Jia is ignoring Moid and since his arrival she is in a bad mood but still nobody is talking to her about it. Musarat did have a talk with Jia\’s mother about it but instead it was Rahat who stormed out of the room. It\’s high time, this mother daughter dou gets a reality check.
It was really good to see Manaal\’s hard work paying of. Her nana has let his guard down and is willing to give his relationship with Manaal a chance. Her mamoo is also warming up to her, Moid has no problems her her to begin with and they are friends now and if Rahat is not with her sister to fuel her anger and animosity, Musarat may not actually be such a horrible mamaani after all.
I am still guessing what turn will Moid-Jia track finally take, it\’s still not clear. I have a strong feeling <em>the guy Jia is interested in is a fraud but I am at a loss to understand why her mother is not doing something to resolve the situation. If her daughter is doing everything in her power to sabotage her engagement with Moid then the least Rahat could do is meet the guy who Jia wants to marry. Just to see if he is really interested and if he is really the catch Jia brags about then deal with the situation, why just sit there ?
Another thing is also bugging me, I hope it is not true but what if Jia finally decides not to marry Moid, will that decision have any impact on Manaal\’s life ? She is so happy with Diam right now I would hate to see anything or anyone come between the two of them :(. Lastly, we didn\’t get to see Shabnam Phoppo\’s family today and I didn\’t miss them, not even a little bit :).
Hope the coming episodes bring good things for Manaal :)
