OMG, Pasha Sahab is such a drama queen. I honestly fell for his acting and genuinely felt sorry for the poor guy. Not just the fake ingina attack but also the dialogue selection was so heart wrenching. He did a hell of a job at emotional blackmailing his daughter. Never in a million years would I have expected such a thing from this guy. Now whether he was justified in pulling that dirty trick or not that is a separate issue but boy was he convincing. He fooled everyone and managed to get the desired results.
I am not a fan of team Dua-Hamza rather I was siding with team Dua-Zohaib but still I felt so sorry for Dua. Her parents made her feel so guilty and bad for no reason. No wonder thepoor girl gave in to their constant emotional blackmailing.
I had a feeling that by the time Hamza would come to know the truth, it would be too late and that is exactly what happened. He was shattered. He never trusted even his blood relations and now he felt like he was deceived by DUA as well. But I have a feeling he will not just sit there feeling sorry for himself. The background music in his last scene sounded more like Tablay-Jang, like an open declaration of war. Let\’s see what steps he will take now to take revenge.
I said I felt sorry for Dua and Hamza but the person I felt deserves the most sympathy is Zohaib. That wedding night scene was right out of a Star Plus soap. The over the moon groom enters the room with a huge smile aur itnay armoono say dulhan ka ghoonghat uthanay hi lagta hai k dulhan madam pooray jaah o Jalal aur full confidence main Apnay sabiqa ishq ki dasstaan lay ker baith jaate hain. ( for some reason while I was watching this scene, the \” Arabian Nights \” tale \” Sheherzaad \” just came to my mind, don\’t know why \”.
Jibran deserves full marks in that scene. The smooth transition of expressions from euphoric to self control, from tragedy stricken to again a forced but kind smile was just remarkable. He stole that entire scene, instead of Dua I ended up feeling sorry for Zohaib. And again that sleeping on the sofa scene had Star Plus written all over it.
I just have to mention how much I am loving Arsala\’s track :). Areej Fatima is doing a wonderful job and also her dialogues are hilarious. I am so enjoying this lighter and happier track along side, everything serious and tragic. It\’s a good combination.
This episode has given me a lot to ponder over. How will Hamza react now, what will be his next step ? Will Dua even think about giving Zohaib a chance or will she not accept this marriage ? If at some point Hazma and Zohaib come face to face, will Zohaib fight for Dua or will simply let her go ? Only time will tell.
But to conclude, this episode was full of good performances. The story has taken some very interesting turns and I am waiting to see how it will progress next week.
