Rania’s immaturity never ceases to amaze me. I was put off when Rania was acting like a buddi amma when Principal saab visits to ask Rabia’s hand in marriage for his son Khurram and what’s even more disappointing is that neither her mother nor her uncle Zafar told her to shut up and let them do the talking. I think the prospect of Rabia getting married in a rich family excites her to the core, how materialistic she is!
Once again I couldn’t help but feel sorry for Aamir, I mean he is such a sweet husband a girl could ever get and silly Rania does not realize his worth. He is a much better guy than her ex-lover Behzad. All she does is find flaws in Aamir, keep complaining about things and piss her mother-in-law off at every possible instance. I hope the day comes soon when she will stop using Aamir and give him the love and respect he deserves. I loved the scene where he gets food for Rania and hides it inside the helmet and tells her to not throw the packet inside the house’s dustbin.
Anyway, Principal’s son Khurram does not find himself mentally prepared to get married, he has expressed his displeasure at his father’s decision. I do think Principal should not force him to marry, it is a question of two lives, why ruin them? Perhaps Rabia may not get married to Khurram and but the Principal due to twist of fate. The sole reason would be to save Rabia’s family from further embarrassment. They have already been embarrassed and humiliated once when Behzad’s family called off the wedding.
Abbas Agha Ali is perfect as Aamir, I don’t think anyone could have justice to the role than him. Mawra Hocane and Mehreen Raheel were pretty disappointing, Mawra’s expressions are getting repetitive to be honest. Javed Sheikh was okay and I am definitely interested in seeing who Rabia actually gets married to and what does Khurram do to escape?
