Last week I was under the impression that Aasma is holding a grudge against Farwa and all of her concern for her is only superficial, secretly she has some hidden agenda. This week I am sure, there is a lot more about Aasma that we are still unaware of . Even with all the degrees, professional achievements and qualifications; she still somehow manages to make time to constantly interfere in Farwa’s life.
As expected poor Tanveer got kicked out of the house because Aasma convinced Mr and Mrs. Saeed that it was Tanveer himself with whom Farwa wanted to elope. As soon as the words came out of her mouth, without even asking for any proof, without giving the matter a moment to thought, Mrs. Saeed ordered Tanveer to pack his bags and leave.
Aasma’s maliciousness didn’t end there, to make matters worse she went to Mustansar’s house to make sure he knew about her latest discovery. It was a relief to see that unlike everyone else, Mustansar uses his own brain. For a moment he was also convinced that Aasma wouldn’t accuse Farwa of something so serious if she didn’t have enough proof but again, unlike Farwa’s parents he decided to hear Farwa’s side of the story before reaching a conclusion.
Farwa’s scene with her mother was heartbreaking. Her mother didn’t even stop to check how harsh her words were. She could have given Farwa a chance to clear her position but keeping Farwa’s past follies in mind, she assumed this time again it was Farwa’s fault. Poor Farwa was heartbroken.
I couldn’t believe how easily Mr and Mrs. Saeed were convinced that Farwa had eloped with Tanveer. I mean, seriously. What kind of parents are these guys. Once again, it was Aasma who was leading the wild ghoose chase and nobody doubted her for a minute. It was thanks to Sir Mustansar that they found out the truth. At this point, I was honestly looking for Saeed Sahab to give Aasma a piece of his mind but no, to my disappointment he never notices any of this. Both of them are so blinded by Aasma’s ” taleemi qableyyet ” that apparently she can get away with anything.
I was relieved to see Farwa and Sir Mustansar are friends now and he is frankly discussing topics with her, which quite frankly her parents should have done. But, still it’s a good thing she has a friend now, who can look out for her and give her some much needed guidance. Sir Mustansar as it turns out, really is a good teacher. The way he explained Aasma’s thinking and her behavior was very interesting. For once, there is someone who doesn’t think she is perfect and can do no wrong.
Junaid and Aasma ‘s scene was superbly done and it says a lot about their relationship. As expected Junaid dosen’t have much of a say in anything and Aasma doesn’t even like to hear his opinion and simply gives him a shut up call . Junaid of course dosent mind .
Googi is another interesting character. His dialogues are hilarious and I just love watching him and Farwa together. They share amazing chemistry and even though he may come across as a non-serious guy, he is definitely not stupid. He brings the much needed comic relief to the story when things become a bit too serious.
Again this week we saw some really good performances. Every one is doing a really good job and I am really looking forward to getting to know Frawa and Aasma’s history and the reason behind Aasma’s never ending animosity. Also I am really interested in finding out who will Farwa eventually end up with :)
