Sir Mustansar’s behavior is so mysterious and intriguing. What is this guy up to ? I was under the impression that he is a seedha Saadha sa banda who was being used by Farwa and Googi and when he discovered the truth, he simply decided to help them, out of pure goodness and sincerity. Now, I am not so sure. He is planning a lot of things and using a lot of people but the question is what for ? Is he still trying to help Farwa or is he trying to help himself ?
First he hired Silky to tutor Googi, then he sent Tanveer to Googi’s house…he is planning something. The way he used to seduce Farwa with the tales of his tragic love story, when that didn’t work, now he is openly flirting with her…the hair touching, showing concern for her health and well being and not being interested in discussing Surriya anymore . Somehow, I am not so sure about his intentions towards Googi anymore.
Googi is willing to do anything to come to Farwa’s level. Whatever Master Sahab says, he is doing it and I totally loved his attempt at becoming sophisticated. When he followed Silky’s advice, He was a completely changed person…his body language, expressions and dialogue delivery were totally different and absolutely hilarious. Googi is the most interesting character in this play and every week, I look forward to seeing his performance.
Surriya is a depressed woman and after her meeting with Mustansar, Puranay zakhm taaza ho gay. She can’t bear Mustansar ignoring her and in her state of mind, she is now worried about Mustansar’s intentions towards Silky. Although Silky is clearly more street smart and worldly wise in comparison to her sister. She has no interest in the ” budhha toota ” but she is impressed with Googi’s wealth, which gives me cause of concern. If Master Sahab is getting interested in Farwa and Silky in Googi, then things would become complicated for these two.
There was no sign of either Aasma or Farwa’s parents in this episode but Master Sahab did tell Farwa to try and mend her relationship with her parents. According to him, it will make things easier for her when she wants to convince them for Googi. I am not so sure about that, as her parents never expect anything good from Farwa and are never supportive, no matter what she does.
This is all that happened this week but I did enjoy the episode. The scenes were short and crisp, totally loved Amna Mufti’s dialogues and characterization. So, I am looking forward to the next installment and hoping that all my fears will prove to be baseless and eventually Googi and Farwa will end up together :)
