I don’t know what to make of Aasma, she has got me confused. She is supposed to be a responsible professional and yet she says one thing one minute and the next minute, she does the exact opposite. This impulsive behavior doesn’t go with the person, we have been told she actually she. She suddenly decided she wanted to go on her honeymoon and out she went. Ofcourse no one found it odd cause as far as Mr and Mrs. Saeed are concerned Aasma is the role model for all young women and in her MIL’s eyes too, she can do no wrong. If looked at from a neutral perspective, I don’t know how she can justify leaving her in-laws behind at her mamoo’s house. But then again, she is Aasma Ghaznavi, the golden girl.
Qidwaie Sahab is the only person in the senior generation who seems to have a good head on his shoulders. He can see what’s coming and therefore he has decided to leave Aasma and Junaid on their own and move in, into his new house along with his wife.
I am amazed at Saeed sahab and his wife, after Aasma bluntly accused Farwa of having an affair with Tanveer as a result of which, they fired Tanveer and humiliated Farwa publically. Even after all that, they did not say of word to Aasma, rather they justified her intentions and brushed it off. They did not even feel the need to talk to Farwa about it, her father went to see her, had a brief chit chat and they thought, that was enough. With parents like these, it’s no wonder Farwa has so many issues.
Speaking of issues, Farwa is trying every trick in the book to convince Mustansar to divorce her ASAP. She is throwing tantrums, threatening him, doing everything he hates to irritate him. It’s a good thing that inspite of being still obsessed with Suriya, Mustansar is still more or less a sensible man. All his years of teaching teenagers and young adults are finally paying off as now he knows exactly how to deal with Farwa and Googi.
From day one, I have been supporting Team Googi. He is just perfect for Farwa and I love how Farwa can be herself with him. But I have to admit, in this episode Sir Mustansar and Farwa shared some amazing onscreen chemistry. He knows exactly how to handle her, not to react when she is trying to provoke him and deal with her sensibly. Now, I am double minded. Yes, Farwa and Googi would look good together but even if she ends up with Sir Mustansar, it wouldn’t be too bad.
Though Googi is a sweet guy, I am not a fan of the tactics he has chosen to scare Master sahab. After his Plan A failed and later Plan B, I was hoping he would stop and rethink everything. After that, he would make some sensible decisions but ” Bhai Loag ” getup, definitely wasn’t the best idea. Still, I enjoyed his meetings with Sir Mustansar.
Watching Farwa and Googi with Master Sahab is quite an experience. It’s like they come from different worlds altogether. Sir Mustansar’s simple expressions went over their heads and all his attempts at making Farwa understand him, completely failed. Now, the poor guy has to come to their level to help them out.
I have to commend the performances. Sonia Hussain steals the show for me every week, she is making Farwa a character we won’t soon forget. Everything from her dialogue delivery, her body language, expressions, the all come together perfectly…sir Mustansar, Googi, Aasam, Junaid along with the senior cast are all simply brilliant.
Last week I made a wish. I wished for Surriya to come back and I think, my wish just might come true. From the promos of the next episode it is clear that two new characters are gonna be introduced into the story and I am pretty sure, one of them is gonna be Surriya. Now what remains to be seen is that, when she will again enter Master sahab’s life and how will her entry effect the story.
