Raqaas Has Some Terrible Parents

There are no slammed doors in Dilawar’s house. No loud music. No carefree laughter. Not even the simple pleasure of standing outside when it rains. Instead, everyone tiptoes. In Raqaas, Green TV’s latest exploration of honour, misogyny and domestic control, fear has become so thoroughly embedded in a family that

Dil-e-Muzter - Episode 9

By Deepika A Hi everyone. I am covering for Fatima this week as she is busy. This is my first time writing a review and I don’t have a style of writing or sense of reviewing so forgive me if the review disappoints you. The episode starts with Zoya picking out dresses for the wedding functions...

Zindagi Gulzar Hai Episode 21- Expectations nay mar dala!

Written by Roh ~ I would first like to say that this is the very 1st time I’m doing a review. I have no style of writing and no sense of reviewing, so it might just be a completely haphazard read. I love this site and the interactions here, and I really wanted to help out our poor Misty, who is not feeling...

Hum TV Rehaai

Rehaai -- Episodes 4 & 5

My apologies for the delay, but this review will cover episodes 4 and 5. Rehaai seems to be moving in a pretty steady pace. In episode 4 we see Shehnaz at her Baji’s and she realizes that Shamim was right….she should never have listened to her sister and killed Kulsoom’s baby. When Shamim comes to get...

Dil-e-Muzter - Episode 8

Things got from bad to worse for Adeel and Silla in this episode. Call me superstitious but I blame Zoya’s mother’s buri nazar for all of Adeel and Silla’s misfortunes!! Adeel and Silla seemed to be barely coping financially already and to make matters worse Adeel gets mugged. This particular scene was...

Hum TV Humsafar

Humsafar Episode 10 (Rishtey TV version)

So I was right about one thing. The romance that we’ve all been dying to see every week between Ashar (Fawad Khan) and Khirad (Mahira Khan) has offically come to an end. And things are just going to get worse from here on out. Ashar spent all episode ignoring Khirad, and annoying me to no end....

Dil E Muzter Hum TV

Dil-e-Muzter - Episode 7

This was a very sweet and engaging episode of Dil-e-Muzter. The story seems to be shaping up now. Silla and Adeel seemed to be doing quite well for first part of the episode and Zoya’s mother did not appreciate the way Adeel looks after Silla. She has a keen eye on everything that Adeel and Silla do...

Hum TV Zindagi Gulzar Hai

Zindagi Gulzar Hai - Episode 19 - Of Rings and Roses

waisay I am loving the safar from leechar and churail to husband and wife…phew! In our TV dramas airing, all we hear and see our bad marriages, we hear about divorces, extra marital affairs, the saas-bahu conspiracies and God knows what else that one watching is left wondering that is that all to marriage...

Hum TV Rehaai

Rehaai -- Episode 3

The third episode of Rehaai was visually more digestible than the first two. We see a scared Kulsoom being protected by the helpless Shamim. We also again see the tortured back flashes of Shamim. Here I must mention how artistically the frames were shifting during those flashbacks and that entire scene…it...
