Dastan Episode 8 Review: August 14th

This episode means a lot to me, not only because it aired on the same day as Pakistan’s 63rd birthday, or because it makes us reflect on our current state in Pakistan and what we doing with the sacrifices made for us but also because today Bilal Khan (one of the cast in Dastaan) passed away. May Allah...

Dastan Episode 7 Review

I think number 7 is a lucky number.. Well I don’t believe in it though but still the 7th episode was full of pluses and i could hardly find any minuses in it. It was pacy, Up to the point. The narrations didn’t drag and the most important part. It took them 7 episodes to be finally engaged… Yeah...

Daam Episode 8 Review

Needless to say that it was one good play again cause it only gets better right? From the boastful maamijan to the “not so optimistic Aasma” to the blameworthy Junaid to the sincere Zahra to the liberal parents. Well, that I guess is too much of a description for Daam’s characters rather than the story...

Dastan episode 4 review

I am not exactly sure how most of you would react to this week’s review, because it’s not going to be goody one. I will be honest, I was disappointed with this week’s episode, maybe it’s because of the high expectations that we have from this serial or may be the serial has raised a bar for itself. However...

Dastan Episode 3 Review

When I write this piece I am filled with mixed emotions; it’s been a while since I have been writing reviews, every week I have to come up with new stuff, get into tiny details and write about something that clicked me. However this week’s episode was special. It was different, every scene, every act...
