They say that everything is fair in love and war; Sila put up with everything; from Adeel completely rejecting her to her parents disowning her, only because she can’t see beyond making Adeel happy. Zehra’s death did not come as a surprise because I had already read the plot outline and it was also quite predictable where the story would go from there. Three episodes so far and there has been one rushed marriage, a sudden death and there is going to be another death in the next episode (I am guessing from the precap). I haven’t yet recovered from the way deaths and marriages were used to carry the story forward in Mere Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley and Dil-e-Muzter seems to be following the same track till now.
So, this was another day in Adeel and Sila’s life; Sila went out of her way to prove herself as the perfect wife and Adeel did not acknowledge or appreciate any of her efforts. Something tells me that it won’t take Adeel long to fall for Sila, she is so adorable and I must add too good to be true as well. I was expecting Sila to break down and cry after she said goodbye to her parents, when Adeel did not acknowledge everything she did for him and after every scene in which she looked at Adeel with those big beautiful eyes, waiting for some appreciation, but she surprised me with her patience….I guess it must be the power of love! Dil-e-Muzter is surely the story of young love. I absolutely loved Sanam Jung’s expressions in all the scenes and especially the way she looked at Adeel while he ate the breakfast she made, it was as if she was deriving great pleasure out of watching him eat what she cooked and then getting surprised when he got up and left without saying a word. Zehra’s death scene was also very well done. The entire episode was beautifully directed, the close ups were perfect and I just cannot praise the picture quality enough. The story till now is simple and very predictable too
Safina did not appear to be the step mother at all today, it seemed like she really was looking out for Sila but could not tolerate Adeel. She even tried to stop Sila when she was leaving their house. Was she putting on a show or was her concern genuine, well we will know soon enough.
All through the episode I was wondering where Sila got her salika and tariqa from. She greeted Adeel with Asalam u Aleikum in the morning, made breakfast from scratch and dinner too. And not to mention she managed to clean a very messy house all on her own.
Overall this was a great episode in terms of acting and direction, the story however is nothing out of the ordinary. It is definitely a must watch though for all the hopeless romantics out there.
