This episode was not as dhamakedaar as the past few episodes of Dil-e-Muzter but there were definitely some good developments in the story. Zoya’s latest obsession is getting Silla out of Adeel’s life for good but apparently Adeel is not as much of a hopeless case as I was thinking he may be. Although, I do think that Silla would have been better off if he decided to leave her. I was expecting Adeel to divorce Silla in this episode but that was obviously more of my wishful thinking! Nabila’s reaction when she found out about Adeel’s second marriage was very filmi and over the top but I enjoyed every second of it – yes it was very satisfying! Everything she said to Zoya and Adeel both was music to my ears and taking the gifts back with her had to be the cherry on top!
Adeel, like a total loser (if I may say so) mentions Silla every chance he gets for his own convenience of course. He constantly compares Zoya with Silla probably because one can’t expect anything better from someone like Adeel. I am glad that Zoya is finding out gradually that being married to Adeel isn’t exactly easy. Zoya does love Adeel , there is no denying that and it was this crazy, blind, selfish love that drove her to destroy Silla’s house and break Adeel’s marriage, even kill his child. Zoya is certainly doing her best to keep the marriage going and knows how to keep Adeel happy despite of everything that her mother may have to say. I was expecting her to react when Adeel shouted at her mother but she knew better and decided to apologize. She knows that she has done so much to marry Adeel, she cannot lose him now.
Silla is still being haunted by her past, which is very normal for any sensitive person. After watching this latest episode, I am no longer doubtful about Safina’s intentions; she does seem very genuine now. She shares every little detail with Silla and also wants Adeel out of her life for good once she has the baby. Safina also believes that Silla can be of great help with the business. But of course, you never know!
This episode was definitely engaging but I have to say that Sanam Jung’s acting was not up to the mark today. Also, the scene right after she visits the annexe could have been much more powerful. Dil-e-Muzter has to be the most fast paced and engaging drama on air right now and I am thoroughly enjoying it.
