This was yet another very engaging episode of Dil-e-Muzter. I think the best thing about this drama till now has been that things move forward at a fast pace. The direction of course is top notch, the picture quality is always perfect and all the twists and turns come at the right time. There was a time when we could all guess what was going to happen next but the play isn’t that predictable anymore.
This episode started off on a very sad note with Silla and Adeel’s baby passing away. Silla would not have blamed Adeel for Affan’s death if she hadn’t seen Zoya and Adeel together that day and if there weren’t misunderstandings between the two already. Zoya has managed to break Silla and Adeel’s marriage single handedly and things are going to get even more interesting from now on. Silla definitely put in more effort into her marriage than Adeel ever did.
The episode focused on how Affan’s death affected Sila and Adeel both. Silla decides that she has no reason to stay with Adeel anymore and goes to her parents’ house. Surprisingly, Safina welcomes her with open arms only because she knows that she cannot get her share of her husband’s property unless Sila signs the documents. Also because Silla owns most of her father’s assets, therefore Safina must have her eyes on Silla’s share as well.
Zoya continued brainwashing Adeel even though he wasn’t willing to listen to anything she had to say. Things will change drastically in the next episode when Adeel asks Zoya to marry him. Adeel obviously believes everything that Zoya says about Silla, that is the reason he never bothered going after her. I found Adeel’s reaction completely in line with his character because right from day one he was very conscious of the status difference between him and Silla. Silla’s reaction was quite justified as well. Now we know who was sending those letters to Silla and why – a very interesting development I must say.
Sarwat Gillani and Sanam Jhung were absolutely brilliant today; the dialogue delivery and every facial expression was spot on.
Shehzad Kashmiri deserves special acknowledgement and appreciation and a big thanks for doing a wonderful job of directing this play. Every scene is beautifully shot and every angle is captured perfectly. It does look like he put his heart and soul into this play. Every single incident was beautifully shown in today’s episode from the aftermath of Affan’s death to Silla and Safina’s reunion. If anyone stopped watching Dil-e-Muzter half way because of any reason at all, I suggest that they should try watching it again. It is definitely some good entertainment and you won’t have to wait for the story to progress further.
The promo for the next episode looked very interesting, Adeel and Zoya are going to get married for sure – well they deserve each other!! And it seems like Ahmer may propose Silla in the upcoming episodes. I am definitely looking forward to finding out how the story unfolds.
