After watching this episode I am fully convinced that Adeel deserves a few of Roh’s famous whacks – bring them on Roh! Even though Adeel was being highly unreasonable today in every way possible but his attitude was not unbelievable by any means. Sometimes a third person can create the worst misunderstandings between a couple especially when both of them are young and naïve and have just been married. Unfortunately, the world is full of Zoyas who cannot look beyond their own selves and what they want. Yes, Zoya deserves a few whacks too! Roh, your whacks are getting famous ;) Everyone acted brilliantly today and the entire episode was very well directed, not a scene out of place. I really did not want it to end so soon.
I could totally relate to what Silla was going through; it had to an mother’s worst nightmare coming true. Silla’s decision to leave her job was very right. Adeel owed Silla an apology for his ridiculous behavior but Silla was the one who ended up apologizing to Adeel and Zoya both. Normally, I would feel angry if a woman was foolish enough to let someone walk all over her like this but I really felt for Silla today. She loves Adeel dearly and love makes you do some very silly things. She has no family other than Adeel and her child and she cannot just lose her husband to Zoya, at least not without putting up a fight.
This episode was very engaging, just like the last one. The story may not have depth and the different incidents leave you with a lot of questions but the drama still manages to entertain you. Silla had absolutely no reason to trust Zoya with her child even for a minute but she still let Adeel go to get the report, although she could easily have done so on her way back. Why did Zoya leave her phone home? And if she did, why didn’t she give her evil mother strict instructions to not answer it. You definitely end up asking yourself many such questions at the end of every episode but the story is still interesting enough to keep you looking forward to more. Today, when the episode ended, I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen next week. Will the baby survive? And yes now I have started wondering too if Safina had anything to do with what has gone wrong in Silla’s life – a prediction Roh made weeks back! I could be very wrong of course but there is no other reason for Silla to go back of Safina, she must have a bigger role to play in the story.
I have to say that Sanam Jhung was the star of the show today. I could completely relate to her frustrations and her helplessness. Adeel went as far as declaring Silla a patient! By the way who sets a reminder for their husband’s birthday? That was a little strange. Zoya derives pleasure out of every little thing, like sitting next to Adeel while they were cutting the cake, going with Adeel to get the reports and so many other times. Silla finally sees Zoya for what she is but she is completely helpless because her husband won’t believe her and she can’t do without him. The only issue I had with today’s episode was that the hitting scene was completely unnecessary; a fierce argument would have been enough to get the message across.
Overall, this was another engaging episode of Dil-e-Muzter and I have to say that I am definitely completely into the play and watch it purely to entertain myself and not to get some bigger lessons about how to lead my life – definitely a good break from all the heavy duty stuff.
