After watching today’s episode the first thought that came to my mind was that was it really this easy to create misunderstandings between two people? Don’t the couples in our TV dramas believe in talking to each other about things? How can Adeel believe everything that Zoya tells him? Not only this but he is so curious that he even asks her for details. Doesn’t he question what Zoya tells him even for a second when Silla goes out of her way to do everything in her power to make him happy? How can you judge someone who has been so good to you all these years only because they decide to do something which does not please you. Honestly speaking my blood was boiling by the time I was done watching this latest installment. I am going weary of watching husbands suspecting their wives and holding them accountable and the misunderstandings going on forever! I am sure all this happens with people in real life too but seriously it would be nice to see some more mature and level headed husbands in our dramas. There are misunderstandings like that between couples every once in a while but such things do come out in the open when couples argue…which is something more common than anything else! Are men really that kaan ke kuchay? Someone please answer that for me.
Mr. Ahmer seemed to be too interested in solving Silla’s prolems – is he just a nice guy who likes to help his employees out or is there an ulterior motive? Maybe the reason he respects Silla so much is that he values women who are loyal to their husbands because his own wife left him for another man. I was expecting him to consider hiring Adeel as well when Silla mentioned that he was unemployed but that did not happen. Am I the only one who thinks Silla is a little too perfect? It was actually nice to see her getting uncomfortable when Zoya won’t leave the house when she was leaving; it went to show that she is human after all!!
I know Zoya’s mother is super annoying but I actually like it when she comes on screen, her presence sort of breaks the monotony. Zoya is all bad and very cunning too; she asks Silla not to tell Adeel that she was paying her so that Adeel would think she is doing them a big favor and asking for nothing in return. Again, Silla keeps that secret for her; if I was Silla I would spill the beans very soon!! I just find it so difficult to believe that two people who are married have such bad communication. What do Adeel and Silla talk about at the end of the day? I can only wonder! This world is full of back stabbers like Zoya, I am not saying that people like her do not exist but only someone who already has reasons to doubt their spouse would fall for such lies. And how could Silla take what Adeel said about Mr. Ahmer being especially nice to Silla only so lightly? We saw Zoya taking very good care of Affan till now but the preview for the next episode suggests that she will not be doing that for very long.
This episode focused on Zoya’s attempts to create misunderstandings between Silla and Adeel, I especially like Sarwat Gillani’s acting, the expressions were spot on. The direction like always was excellent, Silla’s character is too sweet, I am afraid it may give me a few cavities very soon!! Imran Abbas is very comfortable in his character but the character itself does not have much to offer- he is another egoistic husband who loves to judge his wife every chance he gets!
