This was a very interesting episode indeed and believe it or not one that I could relate to as well!! I had a nosy neighbor once who would drop in minutes before my husband came back home and won’t leave without having dinner, it used to be so annoying but I was too nice to tell her off directly to her face until one day when I thought enough was enough. No, she did not want to steal my husband but she had a rocky relationship with her own in laws and wanted some place to camp and our house was the perfect spot! It was really good to see that although Silla is a sweet person but she is not that naïve. Like any other wife, she was not comfortable with her husband spending so much time with Zoya and also did not like all the changes that Zoya made to the house. I felt like Zoya did everything she did just to annoy Silla because she had a fair idea that there was nothing much that Silla could do about it because of her circumstances and also because she probably knew too well that Adeel won’t let Silla be “unfair” to her in anyway. Adeel, obviously is absolutely clueless about Zoya’s intentions and thinks she is a good friend who has been there for them.
I was waiting for Silla to tell Adeel that she was paying Zoya for helping her out and that would have sorted out a lot of things but Silla didn’t tell him probably because she wanted to keep the promise she made to Zoya. Zoya’s attitude towards Silla’s child has completely changed too and now she is completely using her. When Zoya asked Silla for money I was expecting her to tell Adeel that Zoya had asked her for the money when he asked her but her “good side” took over. Silla is one of those people who would want to help someone out in any way they can but she could have taken the bag outside the room and given the money to her.
The promo for the next episode suggests that Zoya uses all that money to get gifts and flowers for Adeel and Silla probably does not have enough money to get him something decent because she gave all that money to Zoya…Silla when will you learn? I have to say though that Silla’s goodness towards Zoya, despite of all her annoyance with her, was actually relatable. People who are not negative or evil have a difficult time understanding people like Zoya. Of all the things that Zoya did until now the meanest one had to be when she kept on sending the postman back, can’t believe someone can be so wicked. Silla knows that everything that Zoya did was wrong but still she finds it difficult to believe that someone can be so evil.
Sarwat Gillani fits perfectly in her role; she is doing a commendable job. Sanam Jhung and Adeel Abbass acted very well in today’s episode and the direction was perfect too. I really felt for the poor baby who was being fed milk in unwashed milk bottles and was left unattended. Will Mr. Ahmer let Zoya leave the job? I really think she should quit now and look after her baby if nothing else because she should be able to tell that Zoya is not the best person to leave the child with. This episode was quite interesting and I am looking forward to next week.
