Haider and Mishal’s relationship has reached a point where they are completely comfortable with eachother; not only are they in love but more importantly they trust eachother. They have the confidence that come what may, they will be by eachother’s side.
Haider’s return to the world of politics is affecting his personal life. No matter how hard he tries to keep his personal life private, people will keep dragging Mishael into the spot light. The reason for that is simple, they don’t have any scandalous stuff about Haider to discuss, his record is clean. On the one hand he is being personally attacked by his political rivals on the other Asfand Sultan is being overly kind and generous towards him. In a world where no one offers you a free cup of tea, Asfand Sultan has showered Haider with a handsome amount of money, a new car and now he is offering him more recognition and air time. With elections round the corner, you never know what does the political God father has up his sleeve. He is constantly telling Haider not to worry about what people say about his personal life cause that is part and parcel of the game, rather he should write about his wife himself; how he rescued her from the evils of her profession. It makes me wonder how cleverly he is moulding Haider into a typical politician. So far Haider is not willing to compromise on his principles but for how long will he be able to resist ?
Mishe has left her career behind her but the career is not willing to leave her. Her pictures are still being used in political articles, attempts are being made at tarnishing her reputation. She is also being contacted for more endorsement deals and the offers do sound tempting. They are both very level headed people, that’s why they have been able to stick together so far. I do love one thing about Mishe, although she has changed her lifestyle to fit into her inlaws house but still her look is very classy and stylish. Unlike many other dramas where the modern bahoo starts wearing long flowy dupatas and shalwar qameez to make her family happy, Mishe has maintained her individual style.
Manan’s arrival delighted Mishe and her mother but this guy has now given them a lot to worry about. Like his mother, he is very emotional and not as rational and practical as his sisters. He has met Hamna maybe three times and he has got his heart set on marrying her. He is not even willing to take his ill mother’s reaction into consideration nor is he willing to think about the consequences which Mishe could have to face. He is not even willing to discuss the matter calmly, rather he got all worked up with his mother’s refusal. Just when things were finally getting better for Mishe, Mannan had to stir some trouble for her. Mishe is right in objecting to this match. She knows what’s at stake and if she wants to look out for herself, then I don’t blame her. Hamna’s hesitation at inviting Mishe’s family over for dinner does show that she is not trying to encourage Mannan, which is very sensible of her.
The way Haider and his family interact with eachother is in stark contrast with Mishe’s family. Hamna and Khadija are very sweet, sensible, genuine people. They care for eachother and how their actions will influence their family , on the other hand; Mishe’s family is full of conflicts. On one hand there is peace and on there other, constant tension.
I wanted to see Mishal and Haider at Saba’s wedding, that would have been fun , I don’t know why they didn’t give any air time to Saba’s wedding. Saba and Wahab Sunaira are our comic reliefs, if they take Saba out of the picture then we only have Wahab left. The writer has crafted these characters so well, not only do they provide the humor but they are also the most annoying characters as well.
Finally Qadeer’s parents met his fiancé and she scared them out of their wits and they realized how big a mistake they had made by rejecting Hamna. Finally they started thinking of Plan B, make their son dump his fiancé and rearrange his marriage with Hamna. So now we will have to wait and see, who will be Hamna’s choice, Qadeer or Mannan ?
